Dreamy Brunch at Dreamy Goat - Edit
A lovely cafe with a few tables in the conservatory and a few outside (for a nice weather day!). The dishes we had were yummy and the coffee was decent. I really liked the vegan pancakes which came with generous toppings of your choice. Would love to have more vegan options like a full breakfast or the vegetarian breakfast burrito could be nice if can be made vegan too.

Limited vegetarian/vegan options - Edit
I used to go here everytime I was in Inverurie, but I am less impressed now that they have cut down on vegetarian and vegan options. Also, they now have tiny cups of coffee - shrinkflation! The breakfast burritos are still good, but you no longer get nachos on the side - shrinkflation again. Dogs are welcome here, but be aware that the place is quite small if you have large dogs.

Cons: Less veggie options than before, small cups of coffee

Great spot for coffee and cakes in the sun - Edit
Update 2025 - sadly the Dreamy Goat is no longer vegetarian and has decided to add meat dishes to their menu. Less vegan options so I’m changing my rating from 4 to 3.
Read moreWe love this little cafe on the outskirts of Inverurie. You can choose to sit in upstairs, in the conservatory or at one of the outside tables. Lots of vegan cakes to choose from, eg custard slices, empire biscuits, brownies, granola bars, etc. (some homemade and some supplied by Vegan Bay Baker).
Today we just had coffee and cakes to enjoy out in the sunshine but they have a great menu of vegan and vegetarian breakfast and lunch dishes.

Little cafe with limited food options - Edit
It's a little cafe with a few indoor seats. The conservatory and other areas were closed when I went in, so it was kind of cramped. It was also expensive. The non-cake food options were very limited (especially the vegan things). The granola and vegan yoghurt I had was tasty and the drinks were good, although the portion sizes were very small for the price. My mum's cake was stale. The people who came in after me were vegan too, but there was no vegan food left other than cakes. It wasn't what the other reviewers set it up to be.

Cute and friendly café - Edit
I discovered Dreamy Goat while on a short trip in Inverurie and looking for a quick takeaway lunch option. I really enjoyed how you could tell this was a local community spot the minute you stepped into the café. The staff was very friendly even though the café was pretty busy. Dreamy Goat had a wide range of pastries and beverages, as well as some grocery staples such as snacks and plant-based milks.
Read moreI ordered the Mexican Burger Wrap to takeaway, which was pretty good. It could've had more flavor, and the sour cream could have been smoother. I would definitely go back if I find myself in Inverurie again.
Pros: Clearly marked vegan options on the menu, Friendly staff, Inviting atmosphere
Cons: Flavor could've been better

Cute Coffee Shop - Edit
Really cute location, it's small but a range of tasty food options - the vegan French toast was a delight! There is a wide variety of coffee options too. Great place for a cosy breakfast or brunch.

Absolutely love this coffee shop. Lots of amazing vegan options. Fab for a quick coffee and cake or a meal. Their French toast is my favourite. Really friendly staff and great with kids and pets. Conservatory with twinkly lights for winter and lots of outdoor seating for summer.

Brunch goals! - Edit
Cute place, really friendly staff. Most of the menu is vegan and there is so much choice! I opted for the French toast with soy yogurt and homemade granola, and an oat flat white. Great food, huge portions and good quality coffee. What's not to love? The cakes also looked amazing.
