Brookhaven's Chinese-To-Go - Edit
Dragon Express functions primarily as a takeaway and delivery restaurant in Brookhaven Station. They make a variety of classic Chinese dishes - many featuring tofu or various vegetables. Aside from out-of-the-box vegan offerings, items such as lo mein, chow mein, pan fried noodles, and fried rice can easily be adapted to be vegan by removing egg/egg noodles.
Read moreI ordered the mixed vegetables and tofu. The food was ready right on time and was hot by the time I made it back. The portion size was great, but even better was that there was a significant amount of tofu. It wasn't just a bit of tofu among vegetables, but really a tofu-heavy dish. The dish was very tasty and came with a side of white rice.
I definitely recommend this restaurant for take-out as service was fast and easy, but there is little room to sit in the physical space - only a small table or two in the corners. Dragon Express is on major delivery apps as well.
