A vegetarian bakery & cafe in Mt. Airy founded by bakers Dayna Evans & Sam Carmichael as a cottage bakery in 2022 with a focus on sourdough bagels. At the brick-and-mortar cafe, neighbors can get breads, bagels, sandwiches, pastries, and coffee, tomato pie, vegan sandwiches, vegan pastries and baked goods, etc. Open Thu-Sun 9:00am-3:00pm. Closed Mon. - Wed.

Sourdough is Amazing

Probably the best sourdough loafs in town. They have a variety of loaves , but I stick with the Country Loaf). The other items that are vegan-friendly are very good as well. The tomato pie and vegan banana bread are delicious options. The vegan banana bread also has a GF option. Vegan options are clearly labeled. The place is small-ish, so the seating fills up at peak times. They sell hot coffee too, but don’t do espresso-based drinks. They do also sell out of items if you arrive too late. Staff is very friendly.

Incredible and so vegan friendly!

Lovely spot that has all vegan breads and often vegan pastry options. Highly recommend!!

Amazing vegan options!

The tomato pie and vegan sandwiches (chickpea fritter, carrot) are all amazing! Love this place so much!
