Massive downgrade from the past - Edit
Favorite restaurant to a regretful waste of $100 in under one year due to poor management:
Read more- removed the most popular dish, which was the great pepperoni pie.
- different cheese on pizza?! Now institutional and gelatinous.
- no longer using double zero flour or letting dough rise properly, which is a night and day difference on the crust. These last two items means the pizza is wildly different.
- using fusilli instead of bucatini on cacio pepe.
- (temporarily?) changed the almond cheese in the Caesar salad, essentially ruining it.
- poorly managed, ignores all feedback from what should be valued customers.
- give me a refund

Do Not Skip This - Edit
I had to stop because it said plant-based pizza. We had no clue it was going to be this great. The ricotta was insanely good & I absolutely recommend the eggplant parm. I will absolutely be going back 10/10 recommend. Also who cares if people look fancy in there.

Outstanding Pizza! - Edit
Probably the best vegan pizza I ever tried. The crust, cheese, and taste were way beyond your average vegan pizzas. Why can’t all vegan foods taste this good?

Finally. A Pizza Place that Understands Vegan Pizza. - Edit
What a treat. Most pizza places either have no vegan pizza, or a regular old pizza made with Daiya cheese. That is NOT what you'll get here. Instead, you'll get an almost perfect crust with delicious toppings that someone has thought about how to make delicious. And if you're not in the mood for pizza, there's an extensive menu of Italian favorites that will make you happy. Loved the eggplant parm.

Solid 5! Def no zero - Edit
It took me some time but I finally got around to giving this spot a taste test.
Read moreWe dropped in for an early dinner and immediately went for the weekly fall special pizza which is something they offer in addition to the listed menu pies.
They had a themed pie featuring pumpkin purée, cashew web cheese, pesto, cranberry purée dollop. It was definitely a unique play with flavors that complimented each other well. I think I prefer it w/ out the cranberry dollops. The sweet flavor sort of threw me off a bit however the rest of ingredients was savory, fresh and delicious. The dough on the pizza has a great fermentation and has a fantastic light, soft chew. I prefer more of a crisp with my crust and this crust was more on the classic neapolitan style which typically is soft and a bit floppy but nonetheless the crust was enjoyable and great.
For a companion dish we had the baked meatballs with macadamia ricotta and marinara sauce. These meatballs were absolutely delicious! Full of flavor and made from scratch with fresh whole food ingredients. The marinara and ricotta was really flavorful as well. I highly recommend this dish you won’t be disappointed.
We also ordered the caesar salad which was noteworthy and incredibly delicious. It comes with house croutons, almond parmesan cheese and of course fresh crisp lettuce. I loved this dish and is a nice elevated take on a classic salad.

Best pizza I’ve ever had! Must visit. The staff are helpful and friendly. Despite an impressive wall display of wine the restaurant has not yet got its liquor license so it was an alcohol free meal, which was a shame.

Pizza pizza! - Edit
After hearing “I want pizza” daily for a while, we had to go get pizza. While Double Zero has outdoor seating, it’s a nicer ambiance inside. We chose a table close to the open doors so there was a good breeze. They also kindly pulled down the shades so the sunlight wasn’t heating us like a magnifying glass.
Read moreWe got their truffle pizza and the meatball calzone. The truffle pizza was definitely the winner. Greta crust, delicate aroma of truffle oil. The calzone was interesting. I may have gotten a corner without any sausage so maybe that’s why it didn’t live up to my expectations. We also got the tiramisu for dessert which was more like a tiramisu-flavored rice pudding. It didn’t have the classic ladyfingers which I know is egg white based but rice was an unexpected substitute.
Overall I would be back if I’m in the area for their pizza but maybe skip calzone and dessert.
Pros: All vegan, Great thin chewy charred crust
Cons: Outdoor seating is spartan

Loved the food. Just be sure to expand the menu listings before you order…I got the Bianca pizza not realizing there were peperoncini peppers on it (not a fan at all). But that was my own error. The food was great otherwise!

Wow! We’re really happy we got to try this plant-based restaurant! The Caesar salad was top notch, my husband says it was the best salad he’s ever had. I really enjoyed the almond parmesan in the salad. The pizza was crispy and fresh. Definitely one of the best vegan pizzas I’ve had in a while. I would eat here every week if I lived here

Fantastic Pizza- Can't tell it's plant based! - Edit
I'd been wanting to try this place- vegan pizza with a unique menu! Manager Nicole, Kitchen manager Andre, and Miriam were all so sweet, considerate and generous. Upper management at Double Zero, please recognize them! They answered my questions regarding the different pizzas - and it tasted delicious- wholesome :). As my birthday treat they included a coconut tiramisu which tasted AMAZING. Their 'pepperoni' w/ kale was tasty. I love it when places douse it with veggies full on.

Best Pizza ever - Edit
This pizza is amazing, especially the potato. Thankfully they don’t use vegan cheese (oil based) like Daiya but instead use delicious cashew base cheese. This is SO RARE and makes all the difference to me. It was so good I was ordering twice a week. I have turned on so many non vegans to this place. The dough is also incredible.

This is why some many people say that vegan food is bad - Edit
The tables are very uncomfortable and the pizza was so soggy that all the toppings fall off. The cashew cheese had no flavor and that pasta was gummy. Epic fail all around.

Yummy but slow - Edit
Ordered the truffle mushroom pizza to go. Flavors are really good but it took 30 mins (not 15 mins like they said); the pizza came cool/warm (not hot); the crust was soggy/chewy. As a New Yorker this was sub par. Ate 1 slice in the car, (since I wanted it it hot lol) and heated one slice at home. It was much better at home, was able to crisp it up in a pan and eat it hot. The service seemed confused and slow. The potential is really there. I would love to got back when they work out some kinks

gentrified ‘za - Edit
Typical boujie vegan eatery. Waited an hour to be seated after I was told 15 mins on the phone (they didn’t reserve me which I thought was off-putting) ordered literally two pizzas and two appetizers and ended up with a $130. Crust mostly burnt and tasted the same too. The appetizers weren’t awful but very basic for the taste value.
