Great food, staff and place. Although the restaurant is labelled vegetarian, most of the food is vegan, even the deserts.

Comfort food, sophisticated and very generous, in portions but more importantly, in care. Everything we ate was perfectly seasoned, well balanced and delicious. The scenario is beautiful and the staff is kind. Super quick service.

Beautiful spot with food to match - Edit
Overlooking the lake in a small park this gem of a restaurant has a wide selection of vegan dishes all prepared with love and attention to detail. Service is friendly and efficient. Excellent and highly recommended.

For dinner, we had Bolinhas à Várzeas - homemade "alheira" balls with sweet and sour sauce, Cogumelos à Bussaco - a mix of mushrooms and veggies, Hamburger Caifaz - pull pork style burger with coleslaw and chips. For dessert, lemon cake and "Morgados", a still warm sponge cake. To drink, amazing vegan red wine Da Mina.
At breakfast we shared Tosta de Wellington - scrambled tofu on toast with avocado - and Panquecas da Via Sacra - pancakes with hazelnut cream and red fruits. To drink, coffee and hot chocolate.
Kind and caring staff! One to visit over and over again!
