Fantastic Food! - Edit
Our meal was fantastic at Don Julio. There were vegan/vegetarian options clearly labeled on the menu and the server was knowledgeable when I asked questions. Most meals are easily modified for vegans. They do offer a plant based protein for several meals. I ordered the taco salad with grilled veggies-no creama and no shredded cheese. I did add a bit of the salsa as a dressing. It was delicious! We will definitely be back.

Read moreI got the veggie combo with a grilled vegetable taco and an enchilada and they were outstanding. The rice was delicious too. Chips and salsa are really good. I ordered a side of tostones. They are the biggest I’ve ever seen! Those were a little lacking in flavor tho.
All in all highly recommend!

Great Mexican Food w/ Vegan options - Edit
Very nice Mexican (mostly Tex/Mex)restaurant with clear vegan and vegetarian menu items. I had the vegan fajitas with added soy meat (not listed as an option). Food was delicious, flavorful and plentiful. Plenty of parking and nice patio seating. Serving staff were well informed of the vegan option and choices.

Best Mexican Restaurant - Edit
We were shocked at how packed it was on a Saturday night at 9:00. No parking spots, valet parking! But after a quick 5 minute wait we were in and seated on the beautifully decorated patio with festive holiday lights and warm space heaters. I ordered the fajitas veganas, delicious and an enormous amount of food! Comes with guacamole, too. The house chips & salsa are delicious and free. My husband ordered the vegan tacos, also a win, made with chorizo style vegan meat.
Read moreService is excellent with managers frequently coming around to check in us and help out. This place was super packed even when we left st 10 pm. Highly recommended, we will drive 1.5 hours just to come here!
