Dry bread and sloppy patty

When I read that they had their own patty based on aubergine and portobello mushroom, I was skeptical. It was indeed a slimy mess. Had I known the bun was gluten-free, which to me generally means dry and tasteless, I would simply not have ordered. I did not finish my burger, I threw it away after a few bites. Milkshake was good though.

Pros: Great milkshake

Cons: Did not taste good, Expensive

Underwhelming and expensive

The vegan burger was very disappointing, no taste at all, too dry, the bread is huge and doesn't go with what's inside, it just makes the whole dish extra dry. I generally appreciate the effort of including vegan dishes on clearly non-vegan places, but I didn't see much effort there.

Baby food

I love a good burger and make burgers from scratch once a week, bread and sauce included. I was really excited to try the vegan burger from Døgnville. This is maybe the worst vegan burger I've had in Oslo. Everything was mushy, no texture, no real "bite", just a soggy mess. The vegan aioli tasted weird and had a bad aftertaste. And the price was ridiculous! 179 NOK for a mushy burger with no side/fries. There are other places in Oslo where you get more decent vegan burgers.

Pros: Great that they have a couple of vegan options

Cons: Mushy burger, no texture , Expensive

Cozy with delicious food

I went with an Omni friend and had the lovely Vegan Viking burger. Juicy and with a perfectly soft bun with a slightly crisp outer layer. Definitely perfect for dates as the lights are slightly dimmed in the evening with soft music playing.

Cons: Not many vegan options

Limited

Went to this chain in a different Oslo location. 1 labelled vegan option on the menu, one vegetarian option which you can request with "vegan bread" to make it vegan. All the standard buns have milk and egg in them according to the allergen list on the menu and even the fries are listed as having egg, however that seems to be the sauce they come with not the fries themselves. The burger I had was nice but the choices were very few
