Pretty disappointing - Edit
Honestly we were extremely disappointed in the meal we had. We were visiting and ordered everything to-go and got the Carolina BBQ Pulled Jackfruit sandwich with a side of crispy brussels, the DFC bowl, and the Hail Kale Salad with tempeh bacon on top. The Hail Kale Salad came without any dressing which was unfortunate because we were staying in a rental without any dressing to dress it ourselves and the Carolina BBQ Pulled Jackfruit was almost inedible. It tasted exclusively of mustard and was not enjoyable whatsoever. The portions are also pretty small for how much you pay. The DFC bowl was good though, especially the chick'n in it.

Kinda on the expensive side when it doesn't even come with a side. Drove 25 min to get there only to find out that they are not accepting a pre paid credit card with a Visa logo and they also will not accept cash. I'm assuming due to COVID but they might want to make that clear on their website. Kinda disappointed especially since I've had the food and I know it's good. I just wish they would accept different forms of payments.

We visited Tampa for a quick weekend but managed to have Dixie Dharma at least 3 times. I’m obsessed and wish I had one near me! Can’t wait to visit again and go straight here. Love the cheesy homies and Mac and cheese (buffalo). Nothing beats the tofu scramble... so rich and flavorful.

Overpowering flavors - Edit
The staff were friendly and made suggestions as it was my first time eating there. I got the chili dog and garlic Mac n cheese. The actual plant-based meat they used as a sausage was not very flavorful. They did recommend the Beyond sausages in it’s place, but at a whopping $8 up charge! The up charge was almost as much as the whole dish. I found the flavors to be extreme and overpowering. I figured the garlic Mac n cheese would be like Mac n cheese with a hint of garlic, but it was more like eating garlic w a hint of Mac n cheese. The food was decent, but it was too rich for my taste, almost just tasted like artificial sauce.

DELICIOUS Garlic Mac & Cheese - Edit
I got the kale salad (I added tempeh bacon) with a side of the garlic mac and cheese. The garlic and cheese was DELICIOUS!! The menu is a little confusing (it says that a side is included with each entree, but the kale salad is apparently excluded from that, but they don't say it on any of their menus). I really like the space where they are located; I ate outside in the courtyard, which was wonderful after spending all morning on airplanes flying into Tampa. I'll definitely be back!!

Read moreI had the “orange bird” sloppy joe with slaw and it was outstanding. The “meat” had delicious bbq sauce at it was even charred and crispy a little on the bun. The slaw added a nice creamy contrast and crunchy texture.
I had the collards and buffalo Mac and cheese as sides. Both were great but the Mac was wonderful. I couldn’t be more pleased and will definitely enjoy their other items in the future.
Ps. So good even my carnivore parents loved it

I have been missing my grandmothers potato salad since I became allergic to eggs 15 years ago. The potato salad here was so similar to how I remember hers. I’m in Tampa for work and dropped in after a long walk on the river and it was the best surprise comfort food I think I’ve ever had. I ordered some toasted sprouts as well and they were also amazing.

After months of hearing how amazing this place is, I finally made it. Granted I live in Miami and it’s not around the corner. It was worth the wait. Went for a the breakfast option. Had the Wet Burrito. It was mouthwatering. Only complaint was ingredients were not spread out evenly. Jackfruit in the first half. Tofu in the second half. Mac n cheese is beyond delicious. Loved the buffalo version as my side. It was worth the 1$ upgrade. Also took the TLT for lunch to go. Great sandwich. Nice menu. Pricey but portions are huge. Ashely is a doll and so friendly

This location is located in a very cool looking building looks like an old steel mill. Food court style stand this is the only remotely vegan place in this building I saw.

Stopped by to check out their menu and was pleasantly surprised to find they were open for breakfast. I ordered the pancakes and they did not disappoint. Light and fluffy and went great with sweet onion jam.
