amazing

Lots to choose from, breakfast options, plenty of fresh juices, sandwiches, starters, salad, and mains. I can personally say the Afrodisiac salad, Thai green curry (with seitan, veg and caramelised apple and rice) and pineapple, green leaves, ginger and wheatgrass smoothie is delicious. The carrot cake and chocolate cake (with strawberries on top) is also extremely good. I would definitely recommend. 10 out of 10 :)

Bit of a shock

We had a fantastic lunch for a group of 7, great menu with a good variety of dishes for both vegans and vegetarians. The vegan burger was delicious. The staff were friendly and service was quick. We were delighted to find such a place in Mallorca where it's not easy to eat out as a veggie.

It came to desert time and we had seen an amazing looking pastry so we ordered a piece, half the party don't eat eggs so when the pastry came we just double checked wether it was vegetarian or vegan. We were horrified when the waitress said that actually it is neither, it's a traditional Mallorca pastry with PORK OIL (I presume she meant lard) in it. Our group have been vegetarian for between 20-40 years and being served this dish in a VEGETARIAN restaurant was shocking. We explained our upset to the waitress, quickly paid and never went back.
Up until that point I couldn't have faulted the place and would have returned several more times. Disappointing.

Cons: Served non vegetarian dish?!?!?!

worth travelling to visit

If you are in Majorca it really is worth a visit here.

Fantastic smoothies and fresh juices and good selection of mains and starters. We had couple of visits while staying here and had we been staying in Alcudia would have visited more.

we have a four year old who was happy with everything she had. Each meals, side or starter had a really fresh taste, and you had to wait a while for your meal, which is often a great reflection of meals being prepared freshly.

The owner was really nice and really needs the support of visitors to the area.

Pros: Fresh Fresh Fresh, Healthy, Staff

Dharma for Karma

This place is lovely.
Ive tried it out a couple of times now and I am happy every time.
Ive picked up a green smoothie here a few times to get my green daily kick.
They serve healthy smoothies, good salats and lovely sandwiches, to say a few.
Ive also tried the seitan thai-inspired dish wish was great & very filling.
There are mostly also a "cake of the day" on the menu and we got a quite filling chocolate raw vegan cake last time!
The staff is really lovely and the food is tasty.
They have a lovely outdoor seating right by the old town, so be ware that this place gets really crowded when the local food & flea market is up twice a week (tuesday & sunday from 9.30-1400)
Dharma is the place in town with the real good karma!

Pros: Excellent food, Friendly staff

Amazing snacks and sandwiches

Vegan restaurant with lots of raw vegan options and a friendly multilingual staff. They have some amazing snacks and sandwiches: I had a marinated mushroom sandwich with beetroot sauce and my brother, who's omnivore, went completely nuts for his raw crackers with macadamia nuts cheese. The area gets a bit crowded on Sundays (specially on summer Sundays) because the cafe is located in the same street where the weekly local flea market is hold, however it's definitely worth a visit.

Pros: raw food, friendy staff

Cons: area can get too crowded

Cute and chiiled out

Great veggie/vegan/raw food cafe. Lovely location right by the old town under the dappled shade of the trees. There's a great choice here for vegans - all really clean, healthy food which is such a treat. Being vegan we generally made our own meals in our apartment as it was difficult to find anything beyond patatas bravas, padron peppers and bread when eating out.

I can't remember what we had as we had loads of different dishes but they were all good and the homemade lemonade and carob tart with strawberry?? were truly heavenly.

The owner and staff are so lovely and the place itself is really cute and pretty with a chilled out vibe. They really deserve to succeed and if you're in Alcudia go here several times and try loads of different things on the menu.

Pros: Choice, Location, Staff & Vibe

Deserves more guests

This nice little restaurant opened its doors just a few months ago. When we visited it was very quiet (the two of us formed halve of the total amount of guests), but maybe that was because we were early in the evening. Anyway I hope more people will visit this excellent place, to make sure that it still exists when we visit Mallorca again.

The menu offers (raw) vegan and vegetarian dishes. We had the pumpkin soup and the avocado soup for starters (both chilled, both nice, but the avocado soup was the best), followed by the vegan couscous (very fresh) and the aubergine lasagne (delicious taste). For desert we had the vegan carob/date pie and the banana/strawberry carpaccio (if in doubt, pick the first). We drank a pina colada and ginger lemonade. Total costs were 50 euros. A very fine price/quality ratio.

Opening hours are a bit vague, but when we arrived at 18.30 the doors just opened.

On mondays and fridays Dharma offers live music. We had planned to return on friday, but in the end we didn't make it. On a next trip to Mallorca we'll make up for that.

Pros: Great tastes, fresh products used, Creative dishes on the menu, Not too expensive

Cons: Opening hours are vague

Great vegan / vegetarian restaurant in Alcudia

Fed up with all the Italian orientated restaurants in Alcudia, it was time for some real healthy low-fat food. And as a vegetarian it is very hard to find a restaurant that can make something else than all the standard vegetarian stuff (pizza vegetale, pasta with tomatosauce etc).
After a quick search on the internet I found Dharma Café. 15-20 minutes walk from the Hotel we were staying in.
Good for getting some appetite and after dinner an easy stroll back. Friendly staff! Nice location. Real nice beer from Mallorca! (Beerloversmallorca.com) I tasted the 'Witbier' and the IPA. For the summer, the 'Witbier' is a realy nice one!
And last but not least; We ate great vegetarian and vegan food! Pumpkinsoup was excellent. Mysterious Couscous salad was no mystery at all: It was delicious. The carrot cake was also nice, but the amount! Wow.
My girlfriend had her best meal in months (home cooking excluded ofcourse since I am the cook;), but I can't remember the name. Something with guacamole. I didn't taste the third beer since the owner gave us a shot of Túnel, a liquor from Mallorca. We loved it.
A shame that we found this great restaurant on our last day, otherwise we would have gone there daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
(Don't forget to look at the paintings of the owner hanging inside, some real nice ones there)

Pros: Food, Friendly staff, Local beer

Cons: eh... delicious but huge carrotcake?
