tasty - Edit
tasty ice but I prefer the normal ice creams. Worth to see though but just go two houses to your right and you will find IceDate which I always prefer :)

Fun and Intense Flavors - Edit
EDIT: Another reviewer questioned why this ice cream shop was added to Happy Cow. Yes, I agree, there are better all vegan options in the area, but Der Verrueckte Eismacher did have a significant number of vegan options when I visited, despite the fact they are probably best characterized as a tourist attraction. I think it is helpful to pass that information along. If you have complete control over where you are eating without any consideration of non-veggie friends or family, then another ice cream shop is probably a better choice.
-------------------
Walking around in Munich a few days ago, my partner and I came across the long line at Der Verrückte Eismacher. The sign on the street said they had vegan ice cream so I thought I would give it a try. There was no separate list of vegan flavors, but when we asked the girl behind the counter, she started listing and pointing at all the vegan ice cream, and we finally stopped her because there were too many options. Maybe this fluctuates each night. That being said, if you are someone who worries a lot about cross contamination, you might need to ask them to rinse the scoop and scoop from a part of the ice cream that hasn't yet been used, as all the ice cream is in the same display.
I ordered a scoop of the Augustiner Bier flavor with a sample of the basil and mozzarella. The girl behind the counter said they were both vegan. By the time I was done eating my ice cream, I will say I was a bit over the beer flavor, but the basil was surprisingly good. Who would think that basil would make for a good ice cream flavor?
One disclaimer, this place is pretty over the top and there are a lot of tourists. If crowds and tacky fun are not your thing, then maybe try one of Munich's other ice cream shops.

Nothing special - Edit
There are a scarce number of vegan ice cream flavors: chocolate, beer, gin and cocktail.
Pros: friendly stuff, near metro station
Cons: not many tasty vegan options
