Read moreWe did a tour of Valparaiso, and for lunch, we sneakily followed the guide to Delicias Express when he mentioned that he was having empanadas.
This is a small family business. Empanadas are fresh and made to order while you wait, although they have A LOT of suggested options on their menu. They use vegan cheese instead of animal derived cheese.
Empanadas are a large size, and one is enough for lunch. However, I would recommend two if you are very hungry.
They also have housemade chocolate nut balls and protein bars. The owner provided us with a small pisco sour (not vegan) and sweet wine when we ate inside. They is some limited bench seating around the wall.
