Ice Creammmmmmm - Edit
Even when it's bad it's good. I sampled all the flavors and went with Espresso, Caramel Turtle and Pineapple. Cornbread would have been my fourth scoop had it been on the menu and not $4 per scoop.
Read moreFlavors were great, texture was a bit on the icy less creamy side which I enjoyed, more about texture in a moment. Would have appreciated some water, I thought ice cream places were like bars and it was required to serve water, guess not.
Before tipping I asked if the scooper was vegan and she said no. I asked what was the hold up and she said something about eggs. Oh just hate chickens and think they're stupid should be raped into existence tortured their whole lives and then murdered because they're small and easy to catch and can't fight back?
No, something about she likes the texture of their periods. I said was it fair to kill animals because she liked the texture of their periods?
She replied that she only bought locally sourced eggs and I said that was a yuppie fantasy, it didn't make any damn difference and it was a marketing myth and those animals were also killed and tortured and their babies blended alive.
I recommended she go vegan to save lives and told her she might visit a rescue sanctuary and spend some time with chickens to better understand why it's wrong to kill them just for the texture of their periods. And also to avoid feeling uncomfortable like she appeared to be feeling when encountering vegans while "shocker" working in a vegan food business.
Anyway, she was a good sport and I'm sure full of texture.
Pros: nice flavors, friendly staff, open late
Cons: no fresh fruit for toppings, charges extra for split flavor scoops, no water (cups too expensive, extra for cones)
