This one is IT. A giant, well-lit supermarket full of nice and tasty things. Fresh vegs & fruit, freshly baked bread, and everything a veggie could wish for. I always check here for new and unusual vegan items, like "cheese", "fish" and "sausages". The huge snack-, cookies- and drinks-departments make shopping here a danger to your wallet, especially considering the steep, Dutch prices. But as Ametrdam has disappointingly little to offer for vegans, who cares? Splurge! Nice location too: right along the famous Waterlooplein-fleamarket.
Great place! Lots of vegan options. Very helpful staff. Don't be afraid to (politely) ask them to check label ingredients if, like me, you don't read Dutch. Highly recommended!
