The burger is great - Edit
Really nice location with a nice view of the sea. We had the vegan burger with fries and vegan mayo. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly. More options would have been nice.

A lot of things that could easily be made vegan but was denied upon request. Additionally we waited 15minutes before someone waited on us.

Auf der Menükarte ist noch nicht alles klar als vegan bzw. vegetarisch gekenntzeichnet (z. B. Burger ist einmal als vegan mit zwei "v" und einmal als vegetarisch mit einem "v" gekenntzeichnet).

There are several vegan offerings on the menu, and there is a clear marking too. The vegan burger I've had was worth the money, though it could have been grilled a bit more thoroughly in my opinion. This makes the Dikke Zeehond one of the good choices on Texel - most places don't know what "vegan" means.
