Only One Vegan Option

Despite having a huge selection of baked treats, pies, and pasties, there was only one baked vegan option available. I enjoyed the Vegan No Beef Pastie, although the name is somewhat misleading as it suggests the pastie consists of a vegan beef substitute rather than just vegetables.

There was a salad bar to accompany the sandwiches the bakery offers, but none of the fillings were vegan. However, salad boxes were also available to take away, which could, of course, be made vegan. DD's Bakery also sell hot drinks, but I could only have a black americano as they had no plant milks available.

I would visit this bakery again if they were to introduce more vegan items to their menu.

Lovely salad bar options

We dropped in to get lunch things during the Session Fawr music festival in Dolgellau. They had a Vegan pasty (haven’t tried it yet, but it looks yum!) and a wonderful salad bar which you could choose from to fill a box. We also got the lemon poppy seed muffins which are AMAZING!! You have to try them! Very welcoming and lovely lady served us and chatted despite having a very busy day- will definitely be back when in Dol.

Pros: Salad bar, Lemon poppy seed muffin, Vegan pasty

Cons: Would love more cake options, Would love more savoury options

1 options

Only one vegan slice on offer, a thia slice, it was gorgeous but no price as he was advertising a vegan roll but had none, so it was £2.50. Plus side it was yummy.

extortionate price very rude

Extortionate price, no price shown just seems like they made up the price on the spot. It cost a lot of money for very little, everything is very expensive and over priced. The staff are very rude we had a problem with our card and could not pay with our card I had to go to the cash machine which was only across the road the staff were very rude about the problem a nasty man who worked there raised his voice to us. Myself and wife will never go there again and I advice everyone not use D&Ds bakery the owners just want to rip off visitors and locals and charge high prices for low grade food the whole experience almost ruined our holiday. Myself and wife were on the toilet most of the night as well. I don't believe they wash hands at this place before handing the food. There are better bakerys and coffee shops in the local area don't get ripped off go somewhere else.
