Just fruit sorbets

Ice cream is not labelled so you have to ask which flavours are made without egg or milk. They give you free tasters of all the available flavours - spiced blackcurrant, mango passion fruit, mandarin, and raspberry. It’s 40RMB for a small cup of 2 flavours. There is some bar seating but overall isn’t really the kinda place you want to be sitting for ages as it’s a basement food court vibe right next to the metro with other people’s meaty soup noodles wafting next to you !
The ice cream (or more like sorbet) is alright, was disappointed there weren’t flavours outside of fruit but it’s a secure vegan option as this place is a chain with at least 4 branches in Shanghai.

Choose Wisely

So easy to find from Jingan Temple Metro station, head to exit 4 & take the short escalator down into basement level 2 of Reel Mall, almost in front of you to the right you'll see this place. There were only 3 vegan flavours I could see, the Oatly Earth wich I've had before, it's a mix of a berry & matcha flavours. I had a small 2 scoop cup of Lemon Basil & Singapore Sling, I've had basil sorbet before & it's surprisingly good, so was the other. The vegan options are clearly labelled & you can ask to sample flavours. After that sweetness if you fancy a coffee, on the next floor up is local coffee chain Manner, they have Oatly, are cheap, tasty & give a 5 rmb discount if you use your own cup.
