Stopped here before doing a hike nearby. I loved the Santa Fe chicken wrap and onion rings. They also carry some desserts from Vegan Treats Bakery!

Delicious Vegan Convenience - Edit
Found this little gem en route to the beach. The food was delicious! Maybe a little pricey but everything is these days. The desserts were awesome (and big!). Staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stop in again.

Only decent thing on the menu was salad which they've removed. Everything is unseasoned. All stuff you can buy in the grocery store from Impossible and Beyond meat to Oreida French and prepackaged guacamole. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Stopped by this restaurant for dinner after a long day outdoors and WOW- we could not have picked a better spot. The staff was very friendly and service was quick. We ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, Santa Fe wrap, fries, and lemonade. Everything tasted amazing and fresh. We also got the peanut butter cheesecake to go and it was delicious. Wish there was one closer to us!

Horrible. Don't waste your money here. 3rd time trying to like this place. But, 3 strikes and they're out. Burgers were cold... not cooled off, no, they were cold as in precook and prepackaged. Tried both Impossible and Beyond burgers in different orders on different days. Not hot, not warm, not recently cooled off. COLD and disgusting. I live less than 10 minutes from Daily Veg so the food didn't get this inedible and soggy during the short ride home. Same for the onion rings and fries. Tasted okay, but not hot, not warm, not slightly cooled off. The staff has not been friendly or welcoming. When I nicely, not impatient and not rude, mentioned that something from my order was missing the employee became annoyed and told me to "just wait." There are 3 other eating establishments in this shopping center: maybe the Daily Veg staff could treat the customers they're competing for just a little a bit nicer? Does the owner of this place read the reviews? If so, has s/he noticed the recurring complaints about the unprofessional staff? Perhaps you'll discuss with your management team about the music played in your "family restaurant," and stop allowing your consistently rude, ignorant staff to serve cold food with a crappy attitude. What a shame: vegan comfort food is a great idea, but not at the Daily Veg.

Read moreLast time, we learned that their grossly overpriced condiments are store-bought and include GMO ingredients like High Fructose Corn Syrup. For a place representing themselves as a healthy option, they should know better than to secretively serve HFCS! Secondly, the fact that they have a Kids Menu presents them as being family-friendly but the raunchy, vulgar music they play gives the opposite message! The first time, the owner was present and kindly changed it. We haven't been fortunate enough to see him there again.
Today was especially bothersome, as we walked in to the entire "restaurant" smelling like a grease trap. It was comparable to the smell at a Burger King! After hearing the lyrics brag about strip clubs and lude acts, we decided we weren't eating there.
I get that this industry doesn't exactly attract career-minded individuals but, at least a basic level of training and customer service is necessary.
Note: Two stars is the minimum that Happy Cow will allow me to leave for a vegan establishment!
Original Review: First, allow me to say that I'm grateful I don't live closer to this place or I'd be eating there DAILY!
For under $55, I was able to feed myself and four kids, including dessert for myself (I paid for theirs separately, after). We thoroughly enjoyed burgers, grilled cheese and a chick'n sandwich with fries and onion rings, as well as a piece of peanut butter vegan cheesecake! My daughter's devoured the onion rings with ranch while my teenager utterly destroyed the cowboy burger! My 6 year old said his was the best grilled cheese he'd ever had!
The customer service was wonderful, even graciously changing the music when an inappropriate song came on. I fully understand not hearing the music when you're working with it on all the time but, their willingness to handle it quickly was much appreciated!
I was a little thrown off by our dine-in order being packaged to go but, we made due and it worked out great! Their selection of dessert options was amazing and I can't wait to return for a milkshake and the Sante Fe Wrap. They were out of avocado so I'd decided to save the wrap for a future visit. 😉

Best Vegan Fast Food - Edit
So easy to eat here with my family on a car trip! Both kids loved it. My partner and I are gluten-free and we easily found choices. It’s so rare to be really confident that the food is gluten free and vegan, but so important on a long car trip. The kids begged us to stop here on the way home. While the food is not necessarily health food, they do have smoothies if you’re looking for something healthier. Clean bathrooms, kind staff, fast and delicious.

So many vegan choices- smoothies, shakes, baked goods, burgers, wraps and Mac & cheese. A wonderful little restaurant, outdoor seating too, with friendly helpful staff. Knew I was in the right place when I saw Happy Cow sticker in the window. Look forward to going back and trying more menu items.

I cannot recommend the Gimme S'mores milkshake enough! Their burgers and wraps have been great so far, and I was very impressed with their desserts as well, particularly the brownie and the sticky bun.

We also thought their Cafe Au Lait/Latte (menus are inconsistent) tasted more like dessert than coffee... That being said, everything else was just too great for me to deduct any stars :)

We shared the BBQ Burger and Fries with a side of queso. So much food , glad we shared instead of ordering 2 meals. Best burger, the tempeh bacon was thin and crispy, the pepper jack just the right consistency and spice. We will absolutely be back!

From out of town and found this place and it did not disappoint! My 12 year old and I both loved the Chik’n sandwich. Employees were friendly and the food was great even the lavender lemonade. Lots of dessert options including from Vegan Treats. Can’t wait to come back.

I am an out of town vegan visiting my meat-eating mom, so we got take out. She loved her pretzel burger. I enjoyed the coconut bacon wrap. My wish would be that there were more items on the menu that didn't use the fake meat products. If I lived in the area, I wouldn't frequent this place much because those meat products remind me too much like meat (and are too processed). But if you are meat lover who is trying to eat vegan, kudos to you and give this place a try.

The BEST comfort food - Edit
My husband and I just moved to Delaware less than a month ago, and we have been here probably 2-3 times a week since! Everything we have tried has been amazing so far, and we’ve had most of the menu. My personal favorites are the cheese fries and the chicken delux sandwich (with the patty tossed in buffalo sauce!). All the burgers and wraps are also fantastic. I also love the grilled cheese and smashed avocado toast. Great smoothies as well! Everything is amazing, and so is the staff!

Vegan, gluten free, many organic options and no added sugar or chemical junk. Delicious and great menu with smoothies, soups, smoothies, salads and more. Recommend VERY highly. Prices are very reasonable while quality is tops.

The food was okay; the tomato soup was a little too salty for my taste but it wasn't bad. I gave them 3 stars because some of their smoothies have honey (so in my view, they're not exactly 100% vegan) and they are very big on plastic ware and do not recycle. Even if you dine in, the soup and salad are served in plastic containers 🙁.
