Beautiful cafe in the Regensburg city center, the prices are fine for Germany. Delicious vegan cheese, many, many vegan options. Our meat-eater friend who had a vegan burger as well was really pleased with it.

This is fast food. Of you're looking for a cheap fast menu with burger and fries and not for a healthy salad or something, this is the right place. I mean: It really is unhealthy food - but very very good! And they also offer amazing cakes. Very yummy and cheap!

I went there with my girlfriend. We just looked at the menu and went on because it was all typical meat food offered vegetarian or vegan.

edit: I would still like it to have more vegetable dishes or creative cooking, but I have been there several times now just because it was the only vegetarian or vegan place in the city that was still open in the evening.
Most of the times I was happy. Last time I had a soup that came with some falafel balls and bread at a ridiculous cheap price.

For me it makes sense. There might be people like me who also don´t like to go out for vegan food and then have a menu like in a traditional restaurant. For them it´s valuable information. The others can read that I did not taste it. And then for me it is not only about different tastes but also I don´t like to have meat in the menu, even if it is not served.

We had some burgers and the gyros plate, which were great. After that we hat four different vegan cakes and they were also delicious. The stuff is absolute friendly. Great atmosphere. Were definitely coming back :)

For me, listening is okay, but then scolding us on our private lives is for my personal understanding more than one step too far and shouldn't be done at any professional diner.

Das Essen im Kaffee Dada war ok - aber ich würde nie wieder dort essen.
Ich war mit ein paar Freunden dort und wir haben über unser Privatleben gesprochen. Als wir bezahlen wollten, fing der Kellner an, uns zu beleidigen. Es scheint, als hätte er zugehört, was wir vorher besprochen haben. Für mich ist es in Ordnung, zuzuhören. Aber der Kellner mischte sich konkret in unser Privatleben ein und beschimpfte uns. Das geht für mein persönliches Verständnis mehr als einen Schritt zu weit und sollte nicht in einem professionellem Lokal geschehen.
Deshalb kann ich vom Kaffee Dada nur abraten.

found this place on HappyCow in my reconnaissance before coming to Ragensburg, as a new vegan I found you have to plan every trip now. Anyway all the reviews were good so I was looking forward to it. The first night I came with a business friend, who is not vegan and he really enjoyed this meal, he had the Schnitzel. I had the Gyros Teller and it came with steakfries and salad, it was beautiful but the fries were the star. We were both too full for desert.
Read moreThe next day I came back by myself and I had the Bacon cheese burger with regular fries. The fries were not as good as the steakfries, just a bit too salty for me. But the meal was very good again. I had a latte which was beautiful.
The third night, I know when I find a good place I don't have an imagination I just keep coming back. Anyway I had the Kokos Zitronengras Suppe and that was the best dish of them all. i followed that with the Schnitzel and it didn't disappoint and then I had the latte to finish.
Great, great restaurant and the staff were really friendly, they made great efforts to understand me given I have not German.
If you skip the review just take one thing away get the Kokos Zitronengras Suppe

Loved that the menu has heaps of veganised German and Austrian dishes and is not just your standard vegan menu. Very flavoursome without being overpowering, perfect soy-meat texture, very generous portions and great value-for-money!
Our non-vegan, local friends both loved it here and will be back for more!

I liked the atmosphere, the nice staff, and the good brewed lemonades. The coffee was nothing special but alright. We had a coconut-lemongrass soup which was very good, the cauliflour-curry soup unfortunately lacked seasoning.

Die Speisekarte is fast komplett vegan. Die wechselnden Gerichte auf der Wochenkarte sind immer sehr zu empfehlen. Wir essen dort sehr oft und bisher war alles super lecker! Wer es eher fettarm mag sollte aber lieber auf einen Salat zurückgreifen😄
