The cookies, omg the cookies.

I travel the world and I often find it really hard to find good vegan desserts outside of major cities. I was happy and surprised when I found Cup of Tea in my own hometown. The cookies are delicious and so close to what non-vegan cookies taste like. Or at least, what I can remember. I'll be back soon and I'll be sure have birthday cakes made here. Lovely staff too and cute store.

Pros: vegan cookies!, gluten free options, birthday and wedding cakes

Cons: small store with only 2 tables

Sells meat

A few boring vegan baked goods (D'Vine in Toronto has identical desserts that are much better due to a change of owners). Way overpriced, too.

Delicious Treats

Cup of Tea Bakery is an amazing little cafe with very friendly and knowledgable staff. Roughly half of their desserts are gluten free. They always have at least 10 vegan desserts, 50% of those are gluten free, and ALL are very delicious! It is always so hard to choose what to get!

If you don't want to commute to Toronto, this is the best place to get vegan desserts in the Durham Region!

Pros: Excellent Food, Friendly and Accomidating Staff, Gluten-free and Organic

Cons: Expensive
