Good portions

Ordered take out from DoorDash. The receipt had my “please make vegan” notes printed directly on it, which is reassuring. Good portions! I like the spice options, I felt like they were true to description!

No-frills needed, just good vegan options!

My family and I stumbled upon Cumin N Eat, an Indian restaurant, while searching for a vegan-friendly dine-in option in the area. We made a reservation and promptly headed over.

The restaurant had a simple, no-frills ambiance, but the exceptional food and customer service more than made up for it. Our server patiently guided us through the menu, which was a bit confusing for some of us who were new to Indian cuisine. Thanks to their help, we all thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered.

We began with the vegan Samosas ($8), which were fresh, crispy, and had a delightful hint of spice.

For my vegan dinner, I opted for Mixed Vegetables with Korma, cooked in a rich coconut and cashew gravy. I ordered it with a mild spice level. The sauce was flavorful and creamy, and it was accompanied by perfectly cooked Basmati rice.

As for vegan sides, I tried the Plain Roti ($4), which lacked flavor by itself but was decent for dipping. Also, the Vegetable Fried Rice ($11), a tasty and generously portioned choice.

My non-vegan family members ordered Garlic Naan, which looked and smelled amazing. They also appreciated the option to choose their preferred spice levels for their dinners.

Cumin N Eat served everything in to-go containers, which was convenient since we took our leftovers home. They provided plates for transferring the food as well.

The restaurant impressed us with its commitment to fresh, made-to-order dishes. If I ever find myself in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to return. It caters to both vegans and non-vegans, and I'd recommend making a reservation for a seamless experience. Overall, Cumin N Eat offers great food, generous portions, and friendly service.

Pros: Authentic and Fresh, Variety and Generous Portions, Friendly & Patient Service

Cons: Wish Roti had more flavor

Excellent food, chana masala is good and samosas are vegan.

They know what vegan means. That's like 95% of the battle ordering food these days as a vegan for me.

The menu isn't clearly labeled and you MUST say vegan when you order even if you can't conceive of some animal product useless being added to something like chana masala.

Pros: Service, very friendly, Chana Masala, Samosas

Cons: Having to specify vegan always sucks

Excellent Vegan Indian Food

I was in the area with my family visiting Dorney Park and went here for dinner. While vegan options aren’t delineated on the menu, the staff were very knowledgeable and guided us after we specified we wanted a vegan meal. They can customize many dishes to be vegan and you can request specific spice level for many dishes. It was one of the best Indian meals I’ve had at a restaurant. It’s obvious that much care is taken in the preparation of the dishes. I had the cauliflower/gobi 65 as an appetizer and mixed vegetable vindaloo (spicy) and both were excellent. Although I live over an hour away, I would like to return to try their other dishes. Would give them 5 stars if they were a completely vegan restaurant and if they used non disposable dishes/utensils (not sure if the use of disposable items is related to Covid pandemic).

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Staff knowledgeable about what can be made vegan, Customizable spice level and tasty food

Cons: Not entirely vegan restaurant, Use of disposable dishes and utensils
