Crunch Kantine

Nice place, friendly staff and a variety of vegetarian options.

We visited 6 vegetarian/vegan restaurants on our recent trip to Berlin and this one was our fave, so good that it was the sole port of call we revisited. Extremely good value and a nice warm feeling to the place, both in its ambience and emanating from the pleasant, helpful owner/chef Michael. Yet the reason one goes to a restaurant is primarily to eat and Crunch Kantine stood out for us because of the strong individuality of each dish in the buffet. All from Thai Curry to cottage pie, goulash to houmous and components of the salad bar made good use of spices such that no dish was either bland or overpowering. We managed one pud, a delicious banana and lime tart. Way better than a couple of much more expensive restaurants we visited!

I loved the food so much! Its fresh and tasty and definitely worth a visit. Really friendly owner aswell.

I really liked this place - there was a decent selection of food and everything was so reasonably priced, including the drinks.

Fresh pressed juice (of your choice) and pots of tea and coffee were €2 (pretty sure the juice was €2 but I didn't actually have one - the people next to me did and it looked good!).

There were multiple options for eat in and take out, with different prices. Soup and bread €3.50, hot food and salad €6.50, both of these together €8, and with desert €10). Take out box of 500g was €5 I think.

The salad selection was small but tasty. There were 8 hot dishes plus homemade bread, all really good - especially the spinach curries.

The english and german speaking owner Michael was really nice and friendly and makes everything himself. If you find yourself in alt-Moabit I highly recommended it.

The atmosphere, seating, and wifi were also good!

This little place is a true gem, my girlfriend and I were really pleased by the abundant and mouth-watering dishes. The caponata is truly addictive. I didn't taste any animal products either plus the atmosphere is very cosy. I would give 6 out of 5 if possible. No doubt that we'll be back soon.

best vegetarian / vegan buffet in berlin! so good to have great food in moabit area! The buffet is delicious and cooked by really friendly owner, the flyer says 60 percent vegan but everytime we have gone its about 95 percent vegan! great atmosphere and price 2! also very family friendly!

This new restaurant is well worth a visit. The buffet has a nice variety of dishes with many vegan choices. They also had a few desserts on offer; the vegan apple cake that we tried was very tasty!

This was the perfect place to come after a long day sightseeing. We really liked the wholesome, home-style cooking that offered us a balanced and filling meal. Also, we know our hommus and this was good hommus.
Everyone was welcoming and helpful, and the atmosphere was very comfortable. Thanks guys, feel free to open in Sydney and we'll be there...
