Amazing Brunch! - Edit
Brunch was amazing! The bloody mary and blackberry mimosa were exquisite. The benedict came with potatoes and fruit. Hands down one of the best beneficts I’ve ever had. The chickn and waffles were really good. The chicken was light and crunchy, so much better than normal seitan chickens. Definitely need to come for dinner!

The dishes might not sound too interesting in the menu, but man, they’re all mind blowing awesome. Would recommend everything we tried (so pretty sure all dishes are just as good).

Inviting space with a buzzy crowd. Food was delicious but sometimes too much like the 'meat' version for me. My 5 non-vegan friends loved it!

One of the best Vegan Experiences - Edit
I went to Crossroads Kitchen for my birthday a few years ago, and it was definitely an amazing experience. All aspects: food, service, venue are top notch. It's nice to have vegan fine dining restaurants.
Read moreMy fav dish was the Kale Caesar, but I've heard their Chicken and Waffles are to die for, couldn't try them though cause it was not available at dinner back when I went there.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Pros: Ticks all the boxes.

Best Vegan Dining - Edit
One of the best vegan dining experiences you’ll get in LA. I’ve been here twice and both times were fantastic. Truly, you cannot go wrong with anything you order.

Good food, just not the best - Edit
Went there September 2018, so take it with a pinch of salt. I was slightly disappointed maybe because I had too high expectations and the prices are a bit higher. Pizza was just ok, the carbonara with the egg were also not top tier Italian food. Concept is good though and the other dishes also fine. Just don't think it's worth the money.

Vegan Date Night - Edit
Great food and excellent service! Having a vegan option like this is nice if you want to go out for a date night with your significant other. This was our first time going here; I have heard it was good from a few friends. However, while there are some affordable options, they can get pricey quickly. Setting up reservations was easy through yelp for groups of less than six people. We ordered the five-course meal and had good size portions.

Good food - Edit
So, like the title says, this good is good. However, you have to be a fan of impossible meat. Most of the meat options are via impossible. It's one of those fine dining experiences where you'd eat, and enjoy yourself and say "maybe I can make this". We had a great time three but it was a lot of stuff I personally had done.

weekend brunch - Edit
didn't have too high expectations going in but left really impressed! The house-made breakfast sausages were crazy good as was the french toast (my (non-vegan) sister said it was the best french toast she'd ever had)! the bolognese was great as well (the sausage in it was amazing too). The khachapuri was what i was looking forward to most and it was good but the least impressive

Awesome vegan food. Everything we ordered was spectacular and I’d definitely go again. The impossible cigars were delightful, as were the truffle potatoes and escarole. I loooved the campanelle pasta, it seemed like such a humble dish but it tasted so fresh and the vegan sausage was delicious.

delicious food, pricy - Edit
Update: Went to dinner here with a friend tonight. For appetizers, we shared a mushroom tart and she got stuffed squash blossoms (I opted out bc I don’t do well with fried food). We agreed that the tart is good, very flavorful, but think it’d be better served warm (not cold/room temp). Next, we shared truffled potatoes; I enjoyed the crispiness but it was way too oily for my liking. My friend said she expected a more truffle-y flavor so that was disappointing. Next, we shared a truffle bianco mushroom pizza, which aside from being greasy, was amazing!! So much flavor, even in the crust. Next, we split the squash tortelli dish…meaning we each got 4. The dish is $24 (aka each tortelli is $4). We agreed that it’s good but not for that price. I could totally live with kite hill ravioli from the market for half the price 😆. I know crossroads makes their pasta, which is fabulous, but still doesn’t make me wanna pay that much. Finally, we shared the chocolate rocher dessert. Omg so decadent and rich; half was definitely enough per person. It sits atop edible sugar that looks like bubble wrap 😆. Definitely get this and the pizza (btw it leaves at the end of the month bc it’s their winter menu, so get on it).
Read moreI had a very nice bday dinner there tonight. I got the eggplant filet, something I’ve been wanting to try for awhile. It’s very good! I wouldn’t say it reminds me of meat, as some others have said, but it has a smokey flavor and cuts more thickly/densely than you’d expect an eggplant to cut. Impressive! The sauce has great flavor too. Friend got a supreme Sicilian pizza and said he liked it/wouldn’t know it was #vegan if he wasn’t told 👍🏻. For dessert we all shared a carmelized apple & pecan snow globe tart, which was delicious, and came with pear sorbet. Having told the waiter it was my bday, he brought a scoop of ice cream with a candle in it and sang 🥰. Overall, a great evening! Prices are high compared to the portions but I guess that’s fine dining for you.

Crossroads - Edit
Used to make this my first stop off the plan for the chicken and waffles. They changed something with how they make the waffle so it's not as good as it used to be. Nonetheless the chicken is slappin' and the maple hot sauce is the secret. Hopefully they go back to how the waffle was before. Also, it comes with only half the waffle so you have to tell them if you want the full waffle, which is more money of course. There are some other good things on the menu. The pasta is pretty good and can't go wrong with a burger and shake. Make reservations.

ICONIC. Bucket list item ✅ - Edit
WOW. What an experience. We drove 40 miles to L.A to visit this pathbreaking, pioneering, trailblazing vegan restaurant. And let me tell you, it was worth it! Not only is the food at Crossroads Kitchen amazing, the SERVICE is what blew us away. 10/10 recommend going out of your way to check this one off your list!
Read moreAmbience: 8/10
Sexy, dimly lit, candlelit tables, white tablecloth. But still manages to be casual! It’s pretty noisy inside and the space has an older feel.
Service: 11/10
Omg!! The service is incredibly efficient. Our apps were out almost instantly after we ordered, and the timing/ flow of the food coming out was perfect. Our server had excellent recs about sharing plates and how much to order.
Food: 10/10
We ordered a bunch of plates to share. My favorites, in order of yumminess, were:
1) Artisanal cheese plate: You HAVE TO try this!! The wedge of Camembert-Bleu ‘cheese’ was the most mind-blowing thing. Rind, funky smell, tangy taste, everything. 🤯
2) Calamari: Incredible and scarily like the real thing! My omni husband said he liked it better than real calamari.
3) Spaghetti Carbonara: I know everyone loves this one, and it’s for good reason! It was lush and creamy, with a (terrifyingly realistic) taste & smell of bacon.
4) Housemade Italian sausage: WOW. Super well seasoned and delicious, with a great texture. Must-try!
5) DESSERT: Don’t forget to leave room for dessert! We tried a caramelized apple-pecan snowglobe served with pear sorbet, it was a work of art that we demolished in 2 seconds.
Don’t think twice! Go here😄 #Veganuary
