Ok small store

Visited Feb 2023. I didn't find a lot of vegan options. Definitely enough to eat, but not a ton of choices that I saw. Produce was ok, no cauliflower. It is pretty much only option around and you won't starve, but I didn't see what others saw. Perhaps off season, perhaps just stocking less. We bought mostly milk and produce.

This Store is a Gem

Absolutely fantastic selection of vegan products and fresh produce. Groceries available for every meal/occasion.

I was pleasantly astonished by the shear number of vegan items available here! Couldn’t ask for a better selection, including all your grocery staples - a true [food] desert oasis.

Great surprise ! Lots of vegan options. Great fresh organic produce

I brought a lot of food in because I had read in books and articles that there would be very limited options in this area. This place was a wonderful surprise. The manager was great and could speak with knowledge about all the organic and vegan options. Yay!

Great Little Grocery

We brought most of our food with us expecting this remote area of Texas to have little to no staples, let alone indulgences we would eat. We sure were surprised! Cottonwood Grocery has everything we would have wanted. See images for specifics. This isn’t just one or two accidentally vegan products, it’s all the brands we are used to getting in a big city (and some products our big city grocery stores have been out of for a while). They also have a whole separate room of produce & everything looked fresh & delicious!

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Friendly

Cons: Some specialty products are expensive
