Have been meaning to make it here for ages. Did not disappoint !!!! The food is unbelievably tasty - the laksa was the bomb 💣. Huge variety to chose from, great value and lovely service !!!

Really well served and the price is super fair. The staff is also really kind. I love this place!!! I’ve been there a few times already and will definitely come back other times. It’s so good to know that they are 100% vegan 💚 this meal on the bowl on is the Crispy Vegan Duck Poke Bowl, it was so delicious that I couldn’t take the photo before start eating 😬 they have some snacks on the counter and I always buy some because they are really good too, last time I bought the peanut brittle and it’s just amazing!

Wow! To start with, the owners/staff make you feel like friends from the first visit. There is a really wide range of dishes and at very affordable prices! I got the Japanese curry with katsu chicken. The katsu curry was a Fry's schnitzel but at $16, I'm not complaining! The sauce was amazing but the rice/sauce ratio was a little off with slightly too much rice. I also got tofu as a side and duck as a side which was an extra $2 each (absolute bargain). Will definitely be back! I only wish they were closer.

Read moreThere was so many foods to choose from, all vegan. We had the Tom yum soup, the vegan salmon salad, the Nam tok salad and the lunch deal with yum salad and duck red curry.
Everything was really delicious, spicy and tasteful.
Would love to go there again!

I ordered the duck noodle soup and it was delicious! The duck tasted and looked great. Tons of choices here which made it hard for me to decide. I also ordered the chive cakes which were great as well.The staff is so sweet as well and were so thankful I visited. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu here. #Veganuary

This is a small place that has a cosy family feel. The food is homely and reasonably tasty. There seems to be many food options. The staff are nice. The downside of this place is that because it is a small place, if you are eating in then you are reasonably close to others.

The food was tasty, flavorful and homey! I really enjoyed it, one of my favourite vegan places in Melbourne to date! The mains in particular are quite good value, and there's more than just Thai dishes on offer.
Read moreThe place itself probably doesn't fit more than 12 or so people, but it is quite cozy and calm, and was very quiet on our Monday night visit. Unfortunately, the Bridge road shopping strip it's located on looks to be struggling (lots of empty storefronts and for-lease signs). Don't let that stop you though, highly recommend visiting :D

We came here after work for dinner. I knew it was small but we arrived early enough to get a table. To share we went for the curry puffs. They were crispy, hot and full of flavour. I ordered the vegan chicken green curry and my partner had the massaman chickpea curry and we shared brown rice and had a roti each. The green curry was full of flavour and quite hot. I liked the roti and the brown rice was enough to share. Good serving sizes and delicious. Really nice staff. I can’t believe we waited so long to come here.

We really enjoyed our visit to Cockatoo Kitchen; the food was delicious and the staff were super friendly and kind. We ordered the chickpea massaman, the tofu veg curry don, coconut rice and gyoza. Everything was really tasty and plentiful, and very reasonably priced. We’d definitely go back again to try more dishes. Absolutely loved this place!
