San Pedro go Vegan! - Edit
Vegan options are clearly labeled and very good. It feels good to not have to choose through sides for once! Fully thought out entire meals for Vegans, with great Vegan Cheese and good servings. San Pedro is a lovely town and the Retro Downtown area needs more Vegan places to attract more crowds!

Large vegan menu - Edit
I only come to San Pedro twice a year and don't usually stay for food but today I decided to see what was around. I'm super glad I found them and I'll certainly be back. It's s small family owned looking place. It's not fancy, but it's great for s neighborhood locals kinda place.

Arrived at 10:15 on a Friday to an empty restaurant and a friendly staff. Mild Spanish language music at a low volume made for an authentic and pleasant atmosphere. As a vegan, it was awesome to enjoy (vegan) chile relleno again. Large portions.

This is a rare find in San Pedro! But I feel like the food could use some kind of special sauce or extra guacamole to make more of an impression on my taste buds. I would want the chef to take some more risks in creating really cool sauces or something unique to make their food stand out. The food is good but it’s also really simple.

What a great spot in San Pedro! Dedicated vegan menu with ~2 dozen options of entrees (including tofu, vegan cheese, soyrizo and more).

Surprisingly BIG Vegan Menu! - Edit
My hubs and I have been waiting years for Pedro to get some vegan friendly spots, so we were stoked when this popped up on our recent Happy Cow search! I used to live in town, but now I just come to visit from time to time. Usually we end up eating at Chipotle, so we were eager to try a more authentic Mexican spot. It's got a pretty good location with free parking just down the alleyway a block over. Love the mural painted outside, btw. They've got a surprisingly big vegan menu for an omnivore restaurant, and I was surprised to find the whole vegan menu posted outside. Everything sounded really good on paper, but I was a bit disappointed by the food. Wanting to try everything, I ordered a combo plate with 2 kinds of tacos and the potato taquitos, while my husband got the veggie enchiladas. The beans and rice were totally fine, nothing special, but definitely serviceable. I thought the taquitos were the tastiest, though I was surprised they were topped with ranchero sauce. The tacos were pretty light on fillings and the hard shell of the one taco tasted like those pre-fried shells you buy at the grocery store. I dunno, maybe I'm spoiled by all the amazing Mexican food vendors at Vegfest and local popup events, but I just found this a little lackluster.

There were so many options for me as a vegan. Everything was fresh and tasty and the servers were so friendly and kind to my messy 22 month old.
Read moreMy non-veg companions were also really happy with their food. I especially loved their potato cakes with avocado drizzle. Casual dress was fine and my entrees were in the 10 to 12 dollar range.

Vegan Love - Edit
Vegan options are not abundant in San Pedro. However, that’s not the case at Conrad’s. Conrad’s shows lots of Vegan Love with their Vegan Menu. Squash Blossom Empanadas are delicious AF. Tacos, taquitos, and enchiladas are tasty too! So thankful to have them in the community. THANK YOU CONRAD’S!
