First time visitor but not the last!

Had a layover here in Columbus and scouted this place centrally located downtown. Nice bar (good margaritas!), funky artwork, great staff. Highly recommended.

Pros: Vegan items clearly marked out on menu, Tasty, Make your own options

Decent variety of options

Decent tacos. Several veg options but the website said they have vegan cheese and they don’t.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Friendly service, Día de los muertos decor

Cons: Even things not marked spicy were spicy, NO VEGAN CHEESE as promised on website, Adult beverages are small for price

Lots of great vegan options for a taco shop!

3 different vegan taco fillings (roasted portobellos, Thai chili tofu & BBQ jackfruit) and you can build your own mix & match tacos with different kinds of tortillas, veggies & salsas/sauces. Everything is also clearly labeled for allergens and dietary needs.

Pros: Quick service , Lots of options for vegans/vegetarians , Fun vibe/ambiance

Cons: Rice is not vegan - contains Worcestershire sauce

It’s ok

I’ll preface my review by acknowledging that as a Chicagoan I’m spoiled by a gazillion authentic incredible taquerias. This place is really just ok. The greasy chips were delicious. The pulled jackfruit was my favorite thing. The soft tortillas really, really needed to be grilled or at least warmed up. Even doubled the soft tacos fell apart instantly. Was excited about the tofu but it was too sweet. Like WAY too sweet. The portobellos were a bit extra. Not a great value.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Pulled Jack Fruit is unique and delicious , Totally customizable

Cons: Tortillas were cold and fell apart immediately , Their hot and spicy is not hot and spicy , The cabbage was meh.

Just Alright.

Condado is one of those places that everyone and their mama talks about. There's always a line and the restaurant is usually pretty full.

I don't get it.

I've been here a couple times and both times i jest felt like, "meh." The taco menu sounds delicious and it's fun to choose your own ingredients but the actual meal falls flat. It's edible, but unfortunately not super tasty.

Their margaritas are popular in Columbus, too, which I also don't understand. They're drinkable but again not super tasty and definitely way, waaaaay over priced.

I went to Condado with a friend like eight months ago and we still joke about how weird their guacamole was and how overpriced their margaritas are. I stick to Med Mex for my delicious, fruity tequila drinks now.

Pros: Location, Easy for vegans

Cons: Mediocre tacos, Weird guacamole, Overpriced, not delicious margs

Build your own taco

A build your own taco bar with several vegan options. I had the jackfruit taco which was pretty bland and a super yummy sweet chili tofu taco. The black beans are vegan, although not listed, as well as the rice. I ordered the guac which was pretty awful, and the chips were super oily and tasteless. The margaritas were delicious! Extensive drink menu, outdoor dining option. Knowledgeable serving staff. I prefer Barrio in Cleveland.

Pros: Several vegan options, Outdoor dining (pet friendly), Extensive drink menu

Cons: Food is average at the most
