:) sehr viel los, weil es direkt beim Cloud Forest ist.
Read moreUnd man muss sich im klaren sein, dass die Colobris nur am Start sind, weil die „Essen/Nektar“ dort hängen haben. Aber dafür sieht man sie 100% und auch von sehr nahmen dran. Wildtiere/Wildvögel füttern trotzdem uncool. Wichtig ist aber sie sind frei und es ist kein Zoo oder so.

Amazing coffee, cakes and hummingbirds!! - Edit
An amazing place to come after the cloud forest. The coffee was sooo good, as was the banana bread. Seeing the hummingbirds so close was a highlight of our day:)

Vegan Pastries and Cakes - Edit
Nice little café to stop off at either before or after visiting the Monteverde Cloud Forest. They have plant based milks available to enjoy a coffee with and a selection of vegan pastries and cakes on offer (to note: these are pretty much the same options available at Café Monteverde). Available options include the savoury Potato Pocket pastry, Cinnamon Roll, Chocolate Banana Loaf, Passion Fruit Cake.

Vegan cinnamon rolls & other treats - Edit
We enjoyed a cup of coffee and a cinnamon roll while waiting for the reserva to let people in again. As the previous review said, the vegan options are not labeled and you have to ask. I even double checked if there is no egg and dairy in for sure. We had the choice between banana bread, chocolate cake, cinnamon roll and passionfruit cake.

The options are not labeled but they have a couple of them: potato pocket, passion fruit bread and sometimes chocolate cake. They also have soy/almond milk for smoothies and coffees. Very good quality, a bit more expensive than the coffee shops in the center but it’s understandable. Really nice and cozy place.
