Dutch Design Week

We went here during the DDW, so a special menu was in use.

I simply went to the barrister and said: "I would like all vegan pastries that you have on your menu, please". I would recommend doing this at least once in your life. The look on their face is priceless. I also orderd the sandwich and corn soup.

Everything tasted great! However, the location wasn't what we normally like. It is crowded, noisy (it's above the central train station entrance), and the tables are very small. However, we did like this experience and would come back to check out their regular menu.

Niente di eccezionale

Hanno solamente 3-4 dolci vegani che non erano molto freschi purtroppo. Dal menù però si può fare qualche piccola variazione per rendere un piatto vegano. Peccato che lo yogurt di soia al posto di quello greco abbia un incremento di prezzo.

Pros: Locale molto bello e particolare

Cons: I dolci non erano freschi, Poca scelta, Yogurt di soia più costoso di quello greco

Great coffee

The coffee is pretty good! There are also lots of vegan options in terms of food. I haven’t had the food, just the coffee so I can’t comment on the food. The location is pretty convenient since it’s at the bus station.

Great place for coffee or work

New branch from Coffeelab, they are now inside central station (but outside the check-in zone). Great plantbased milk options like coffees and chai lattes. Has a weekly changing cake from Van Planten which is always good, plus two other vegan sweets options (rocky road!) and some vegan breakfast/lunch options although I never tried those. They offer special working tables to bring your laptop. It’s a large space so lots of seating. They even have a screen to keep an eye on the trains sceduled. The only two things I wished was that they had more small vegan (hearty) bites if you only want something small. And often the small piece of cake with your plantbased coffee or chai is not vegan which I think they could improve on😄
