Delicious vegan food with Ecuadorian flair - Edit
Tiny restaurant on a less commercial street in Centro. Food was fabulous, the pizzas are made on plantain dough, superb! made-in-house spices and sauces. Very very tasty. Got to meet the owners and you can tell the love they have put into this concept and the food.

Love that they make their own vegan cheese from potatoes! Very cool place & the owners are lovely people & very patient with my poor Spanish. The tostones were the best I have ever had in South America. We ordered wayyyy too much food as we also got the empanadas & a small pizza. Very inexpensive & very good!

Listed as Verdecelli's on Google Maps. Many vegetarian and vegan options. The pizza crust, burger bun and empanada dough are all made with a base of green plantain, and are gluten-free. A few items (ie lasagna) are only available if you pre-order; you can connect with the restaurant via Whatsapp to confirm what is available and what needs to be pre-ordered.

This place is adorable and delicious! Fresh made juices, vegan and gluten-free pizza and veggie burgers! I can’t wait to go back! (Note: vegan options cost $1 more than the menu prices, but the vegan cheese is homemade)

Tasty and interesting style of pizza - Edit
Not sure if it was accidental, but I was charged $3.75 instead of $2.75... The pizza itself was tasty. The gluten-free base is quite good and while there was a lot of 'cheese' on the pizza, it made it sloppy in the middle and hard to pick up. I enjoyed it but thought it was a bit overpriced for its small size.

Would give 5 stars if allowed. The vegan cheese for the gluten free pizzas and burgers is the best I’ve ever tried in my 4 years of being vegan. It goes great with some fresh coconut water. The owner(s) and chef are amazing- very nice and friendly.
