Chocolate shop near Shijo Kawaramachi. Sells raw chocolates, handmade chocolate bars, bliss balls, hot chocolate powder, chocolate covered nuts and fruits, and raw cakes. Not all items are vegan but everything is marked. Uses healthier sweeteners but also honey. Reported closed, Feb 2020.

Worth a look!

Most items have honey! But the food without was amazing! The staff are also very helpful and apologetic.

Delicious raw vegan crepe

Although Coco offers very little vegan desserts (a lot of them contain honey), it does serve a good raw vegan crepe that's worth the visit if you're downtown. Filled with cashew cream, fresh fruits and topped with a drizzle of raw chocolate sauce, it will surely please most raw vegans, healthy foodies and even non-vegans. The store also sells a variety of vegan friendly and organic products like raw cacao powder, maca powder, plant based milks and more which can be rare to find in that area. It's a shame they don't have more vegan options for desserts and chocolates because a lot of their sweets can be made vegan if it wasn't for the honey! The staff however are super friendly and understand what "vegan" means and will happily assist you if you tell them your dietary requirements.
