Serves meat, vegan options available. Has 3 vegan sandwiches and many of the other dishes can be made vegan. Also has vegan and gluten free baked goods.

Me and my daughter went it just for a wee vegan treat... $35 later lol
I got the vegan peanut butter Blondie... Holy crap it was sinfully delicious!
Pros: good sweet vegan treats but.....
Cons: they need more vegan choices that aren't sweets

lunch at citizen cafe - Edit
We were interested in trying this restaurant as we had heard about it from others we knew. Unfortunately it was not all what it was cracked up to be. The Simone sammie was tiny. Not what a $10 sandwich normally looks like. It was 1/2 " thick, made with white bread though we had requested whole wheat. Tasted ok what little there was. The soup.was ok but again the large serving was quite small. The vegan salad came with goat cheese on it. Huh? Last time i looked the goat was an animal. We wanted to try a new place but noe i remrmber why we go to our favourites over and over again.
Pros: new and interesting location
Cons: expensive and not much choice

Not as impressed as others - Edit
I find that Citizen has low-quality food, so that even when there are vegan options, they aren't very good. I once ordered a sandwich and I think it was made with Wonderbread or some other cheap, nasty stuff. It does have quite a lot of dairy-free baking, but last time I was there and asked why many of the same items had recently changed from vegan to dairy-free, the employee didn't know (and didn't offer to check).
Pros: Has dairy-free cookies and squares , Pleasant atmosphere
Cons: Not overly tasty veg fare (in my opinion) , Not great service

Wonderful Coffee/Lunch Spot - Edit
A great cafe serving one vegan sandwich (Currently the "Hall"), with the option of changing one other vegetarian sandwich into a vegan one (Order "Beets by Dre" and sub hummus instead of cheese). Daily soup is vegan, and salad is vegan without cheese. They also have several vegan baked goods including cookies and brownies and have several alternative milk options for beverages.
Pros: Vegan Friendly , Locally owned/opporated

Awesome! - Edit
Loved going to a place with a variety of vegan options. My boyfriend is not vegan, and he also had options! Loved the decor of the restaurant and the service was quick and friendly.
Pros: Vegan options, Quick and friendly service, Nice area to sit
Cons: Small, but reasonable space
