I read that the dumplings and rice balls were really tasty so I had to try it and I WAS SO IMPRESSED!! haven’t had something so delicious in a long time. The owner is extremely friendly and even speaks some German, wow! We didn’t love the sandwiches but the noodles, fried tofu with seaweed, the sushi and ofc the rice balls and dumplings are our favourites:))

We just had an extremely enjoyable experience in Chay Corner. We initially ordered a plate of boiled dumplings, a banh mi and some rice balls to share between two people. The staff very helpful let us know that the dumplings were small and they would suggest ordering another main. We added the lemongrass tofu with rice as well. The rice balls were definitely my favourite- flavorful and with such good texture! The 4 dishes came to 200k VND so very reasonably priced as well.
Read moreThe owner was also so lovely. It's worth visiting just for a conversation with her. She made the whole visit really enjoyable. There was a celebration happening while we were there and she gave us some complimentary homemade plum wine- completely delicious!

Lovely restaurant for vegans & veggies they even have a vietnamese translation on the menu for vegan which I haven't seen before & ask that you tell them if you are veggie or vegan which is helpful. Most items seemed vegan anyway!

Staff friendly but not much English so would recommend using Google translate if you don't speak vietnamese.

We had a nice meal, fried rice balls and broccoli were great. Dumplings were tasty but they barely had any filling hence the 4/5 review.

We ordered two orders of fried pumpkin, spring rolls, and a vegetarian sausage baguette and it only cost 140,000 dong. The food was absolutely delicious! They didn't have dumplings when we went because of Tet (they go off quickly so they ran out) but there was still plenty to order! The staff were really kind and the waitress spoke great English.

The food is reasonably priced, looks beautiful and is really tasty. Try the Banh Xeo and the dumplings. Plus the owners are really friendly. What is not to like. We will definitely come back.

The dumplings are sticky, but beautiful and I love the sweet and tangy sauce.
The lemongrass tofu- deep, rich, and very flavorful. The lemongrass definitely comes through with a bit too much ginger for my taste, but my partner found it to be perfect.
The fried rice sushi was fun to try. Also nicely prepared, a bit oily and would have liked some salt, but lovely texture.
We enjoyed the fresh soy milk.
Overall love this experience. After several “miss”es food wise, this was such a gift on our trip here in Vietnam.

Super delicious handmade dumplings with a tangy vegan fish dipping sauce. I also had the tofu and mushroom soup which was thick and had a wonderful umami flavour.
