Very vegan friendly - Edit
So many options, it was hard to choose! We had the noisette (plus banana) and sweet breakfast. Really tasty with nice crispy edges, and surprisingly not messy to eat. Hope to return!

I got the snickers and summer crepes and both were delicious! I really loved this place. I never see vegan crepes offered so it was a really fun and delicious stop

Vegan Crepes - Edit
Lots of vegan crepes available on the menu (ask for vegan so the modifications can be made). I had the Snickers Crepe which was amazing - could’ve easily gone back for another. The crepes are quite expensive though.

Lots of vegan options - Edit
I ordered the "Snickers" crepe. Made with peanut butter, chocolate chips, caramel and almonds. They have lots of vegan options clearly stated on their menu.

Charlie Browns Crepes - Edit
It's really cool that they offer vegan crepes here and that they have such a large selection. Unfortunately, we didn't think it was anything special and the crepes tasted rather burnt. Maybe we were just unlucky, but for us the visit wasn't worth it.

Yum - Edit
Really nice crepes. Good coffee too. Such a cool thing to find in Wanaka.

Cons: Not 100% vegan

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to share your feedback! During the low season, we have to streamline our menu as demand tends to decrease significantly. Unfortunately, this means we can’t always offer a savoury vegan option without risking unnecessary food waste, which goes against our values.
Read moreWe do hope you’ll visit us again when our full menu is available!
VeganSoapDude
Thanks for responding. It's fine that you streamline your menu, but I don't see any reason you couldn't have a savoury option year round using ingredients that you also use on your non vegan menu
Read moreAdrienPaoli
You are absolutely right, you could have asked for a custom vegan savoury crêpe with our available ingredients! During the low season it is limited to fresh tomatoes, baby spinach, nuts and pesto.

Amazingly, had that been offered to me, you'd be looking at a 4 star review right now. Instead I was told you only offered sweet vegan crepes in the off season. Please add that to the menu as a vegan option. I'm sure you'll find it will satisfy any critics

Definitely worth it! - Edit
We tried the hazelnut, veg, and summer options. I liked the hazelnut opt-in the best, and it would certainly go really will with some ground coffee sprinkled on it, but loved it just as it was. The summer option comes with an avo filling that works really well, definitely recommended.

Many vegan choices but expensive - Edit
We tried a sweet and a savory crêpe and they were both really good!
Read moreI appreciate the fact that they reduce the price for some of the vegan version where there is no whipped cream. Though I find it still quite expensive
But it's nice to be able to eat a vegan crepe here, whereas in my country France it doesn't exist unfortunately
Pros: Many vegan choices
Cons: Expensive

Great vegan options - Edit
There is a seperate menu for the vegan sweet options and the person working there said to let them know if we wanted savoury as they can also make that vegan too. I got the nutty crepe (peanut butter, walnuts and chocolate) and it was really nice. It had a weird after taste though so I probably wouldn’t get that flavour again but I would like to try other flavours

Vegan Menu optional - Edit
There is a a separate vegan menu with six different sweet vegan crepes. We didn’t asked about savoury crepes but there should also be options I think. I hab the Nutty with peanut butter, dark chocolate and nuts (walnuts and almonds). Wasn’t too sweetI like it. My friend had the Pomme d‘amour with apples and maple syrup. This on the contrary was very sweet. So theres something for everyone‘s taste. The price is ok (between 11-13 $) because the crepes are quite big. We were stuffed afterwards.

Very nice crepes! - Edit
They have a sperate vegan menue with about 5ish choices I think. I had a crepe withe homemade chocolate sauce/spread, bananas, almonds and choc chips in it and it was very delicious! It is as sweet as a crepe should be but its not too much. Big portion too! The only thing for me is that the crepe could be a litter fluffier not so crispy, but thats just personal. It was still very good so I can very much reccomend it. The taste was 10/10.

Great Crepes - Edit
Really tasty crepes, with lots of options for sweet and savoury. This also includes the ability to make your own. The only potential downside is that the vegan batter isn’t as sweet as it’s buckwheat and gf. The fillings make up for it though. I had the nutty one and would definitely recommend!

Vegan crepes - Edit
The vegan crepe was very well done, crispy, soft, and large. We had the summer special which had avocado, sundries tomatoes, and olives. The avocado did not taste fresh, but after driving from fox glacier it hit the spot. There were many more sweet crepe options than savory.

Yummy crepes and good service - Edit
The man who served us was happy to tell us vegan options and had a separate menu that clearly indicated what ingredients were vegan. The crepe was delicious (though the chocolate chips were very rich) and I’ll probably go there for breakfast tomorrow!

Amazing! - Edit
I was missing galettes from home since I went vegan and couldn't believe it when I found this place on Happy Cow! I went to have sweet galettes twice during my weekend in Wanaka. They have a list of all the vegan ingredients with their price so you can make your own.. The first time I was greedy and put a lot in it (so good though!), the second time I just got maple syrup and lemon juice and it was perfect! I'm gonna recommend this place to everyone going to Wanaka!

Trés bon ! - Edit
Before going to the wonderful cinema in Wanaka I bought a buckwheat galette with sugar and cinnamon and I really liked it ! The price of $7 is also very good. I can recommend it, it’s a cute little truck and they’re there the whole day ! (8am - 9pm). (The cinema in Wanaka serves homemade vegan cookies but I sadly didn’t try them)

French crêperie with various vegan options, as you can make your own combination and receive kind recommendations by the friendly staff. Staff knows what vegan means and explains the composition of everything (note that only the galette batter is vegan). The ''summer'' crepe was a good choice.
