Good products

They have tofu, vegan Tamales, Vegan sausage, burgers (from Lentija express), a lot of vegan food but sometime expensive. You can make your own peanut butter and they have organic vegetables and fruits.

Violife cheese

If you’re looking for vegan products, you have come to the right place. They also make their own vegan mayo for sale. Not a TON of stuff, but we bought a bunch of violife cheese

The place to go shopping

Want vegan cheese or tofu when in Medellin you have to go here. Also lots of containers with ingredients in a good place.

All vegan grocery

A good spot for harder to find stuff; tofu, veggie burgers and amazing local vegan cheese. Small selection of fresh fruits and veggies. Dried goods like pasta. Personal care items

Too bad

I went into the store thinking it was all vegan because the restaurant in it is completely vegan as well and it says here on happy cow it’s vegan too but I bought lentil ‘meatballs’ and when I came home I saw one of the ingredients is egg

Pros: The store exist

Cons: Not enough interesting products, Not all vegan apparently

Vegan specialty goods

Cute (really small) market located in the restaurant. They have a lot of ingredients you can’t find anywhere else, as well as some vegan makeup’s, soaps, etc.

Pros: Vegan ingredients you can’t find other places, High end - only the best ingredients , Chocolate + bulk goods

Cons: Limited selection

A let down

It seems they have renovated Ceres since the last time anyone from happy cow has been there, and they have combined it with Justo.
There is a very little choice now, and I couldn't find anything that I was interested in buying.
Most of the stuff like the patties you can even find in the big supermarkets like Exito and Olimpico.

Pros: Nice enterior

Cons: Little selection

Cons: Precios altos

Thanks for your Kindness

My husband and I visited Ceres a few weeks ago and I wanted to take the time to thank the owners for their kindness to me.
We were in Medellin on business and always stay near Parque Lleras. My husband and I had stopped in early in the week, as he wanted to check out some of the digestive items, in case he had issues. During that visit I saw some very cute Christmas owls on display.
Later in the week, we came back and the owners shared with me how one of their mothers make the owls, and that I might be able to find them in the US, as they are store decorations.
I just wanted to say how kind and gracious they were to me and we will definitely stop back in the next time we are in Medellin.
This was one of several random acts of kindness from complete strangers that we experienced in our visit. This was our 4th visit to Medellin and every time we are treated with such kindness and graciousness.
Happy New Year!
Sincerely
Karen

Pros: friendly staff, nice atmosphere

A nice small selection.

Conveniently located with fresh options and other vegan things. I didn't like the vegan cheese that I tried (pictured), but everything else is pretty standard.

Great smoothies!

I used to shop here all the time but now I resort to SaludPan and Vita Integral.

Ceres has no dairy or meat. They do have some cool stuff. And in Poblado it may be the best choice for healthy groceries. The smoothies are great and yes, I agree, that the attitude of one of the employees is terrible. The owners are aware of the problem but like most Colombian businesspeople, they find it hard to replace loyal employees.

Go there for the smoothies, as they are better than those at Saludpan in my opinion. But go to Saludpan or Vita Integral for everything else if you can.

Pros: Great organic smoothies, Great location, Nuts in bulk

Cons: One of the employees has a bad attitude, No dairy, No meat

lovely little organic shop

This is a great little place... small but with a nice selection of local organic vegetables, sauces, cleaning products, juices, and pastas (including amazing quinoa fettucini). While there are probably over a hundred "naturista" shops in Medellin, very few focus on organics and high-quality items like this place.

It is connected to the upper floor of Verdeo, so it's easy to reach from inside during times when both are open (note that this shop closes before 7 on all days except Friday and Saturday, when it's open late). Very friendly staff and nice attitude, worth seeking out. Try the Hibiscus water (Wandolo) and freshly ground peanut butter.

Pros: convenient location, local organic produce, unique Colombian products

Cons: some items pricey
