So delicious

Didn’t get a picture, but my sister bought me a vegan falafel wrap, hummus, and pita bread on my birthday a few days ago. I had never tried this place before. But it was soooo yummy. I’ve always loved hummus, but I haven’t had falafel much and it was so tasty and really hit the spot. I’m definitely gonna be thinking about it until I get it again.

Delicious and easy options

When ordering in the restaurant vegan options are clearly shown with 2 green asterisks. I ordered the lentil soup which was delicious and sip-able as well as the mini spinach and thyme pies…both were delicious. Definitely a great option

Pros: Lots of vegan option, Friendly staff, Easy to read options

Cons: No vegan desserts

Amazing Middle Eastern food in Dayton

CedarLand is definitely a great hole-in-the-wall find. It’s authentic Lebanese cuisine and they have some of the best falafel in town. OMG the garlic tahini sauce that comes with their falafel sandwich is SO GOOD!! All the usual Middle Eastern vegan options are great too - hummus, baba ghannouj, mjedra, tabbouli salad and more - but they also have these delicious pies that are worth a try. The thyme za’atar pie and the spinach pie are vegan.

Vegan options are clearly marked with two green stars on their in-store menu (see pics). We usually do DoorDash delivery from here, but I’ve eaten in there a couple of times too. Plenty of seating. The restaurant ambience is outdated, but in a good (family-owned small business) sort of way😄The staff are super nice and very knowledgeable about what’s vegan. There is a small grocery area inside with hard-to-find middle eastern groceries, such as freekeh, bulgur, rose water and more, if you’re a home chef (or just like treats!)

This place doesn’t get much online exposure, so please go show this family-owned local small business some love!

Pros: Family-owned and operated local business, Clearly marked vegan options

Cons: No vegan desserts
