A simple vegetarian restaurant in the Magdalena del Mar neighborhood (near busy Avenida Brasil). Most things are vegan but they do have milk or egg in a few items. Also sells healthy food products. Easily reached by public transportation. Open Mon-Sun 12:00pm-10:00pm.

Local & nice place!

I came in for lunch. They are offering simple dishes at a very affordable price. Mostly vegan. No substitute vegan products. Portions are not too big but enough as it‘s a great lunch menu deal. Very friendly owner!

Pros: Friendly , Very nice price, Healthy food

Tasty local down to earth

I liked the place a lot and came back several times. It’s very down to earth and not touristy at all. The owner is really friendly and helpful. There is a daily changing lunch menu with Peruvian classics (some of them are vegetarian, you need to ask for the vegan dishes/versions) for 13 /S which for Lima is super affordable.
The dishes are tasty and I like the patio as well as the cooling interior even if it’s a bit loud sometimes close to traffic Avenue Sucre.
Kitchen only is open until 4:00PM after that they only sell Empanadas and other products for take away.

Pros: Many vegan dishes, Tasty, Cheap

Cons: Loud location

Good, basic food

I arrived here a little before 2. They had already run out of half of the 6 possibilities for the meal of the day. I got the mixed salad which consisted of beets cucumbers and a few other veggies. For the main plate I chose a vegetable wok with mock meat and whole grain rice. The meal came with a tepid almost colorless flavorless liquid to drink. As of January 2020 the meal of the day costs 10 soles. I would describe the food as good, but basic. Recommended if you are going to be in the neighborhood. As usual, arrive before 1 p.m. if you want to quickly get a table (and have good choices for the meal of the day).

Update March 2022: the meal of the day now costs 13 soles (delivery to nearby areas costs 2 soles extra). Today, I ordered the caigua rellena as my main plate. This is a hollowed out green vegetable, similar to a cucumber. At most vegetarian restaurants, this usually filled with peas carrots and bits of mock meat for protein. This restaurant did not add any protein at all so the entire meal was almost devoid of protein.

The third time I went, I got the salad and the main plate had quinoa, a piece of mock meat with adobo sauce and whole grain rice. This meal was pretty good.

They post their menu of the day on their Facebook page.

Note that as of March 2022 if you go to the restaurant in person you have to order and pay outside and then they let you inside to sit down. Outside tables have the fresh air but lots of traffic noise.

Pros: Price

Cons: Food kind of average, One waiter for 20 tables, Lack of protein in some menu choices
