Great food but disappointing service - Edit
Let me get this straight: I loved my banana stew and would have it again, but the restaurant's service was so frustrating that I can't give it more than two stars.
Read moreDespite having a reservation and arriving on time, we had to wait 20 minutes after being seated before anyone came to our table. It took a full 40 minutes to get our drink — we only got one because the waiter hadn't understood we ordered two, so we had to share one short cocktail.
The same happened with the starters. We ordered two, but only received one. I won't even mention how long this took.
All the while, I was watching a table of three who arrived at the same time as us, being served at the usual pace. They were basically leaving after having a nice dinner before we had even finished our starters.
When the main course arrived, one of them (Bobo) was lukewarm, so we had to ask for it to be reheated.
English was definitely a barrier here. The waiter didn't pay much attention to what I was trying to say and didn't check the order with me at all.
Someone here mentioned a long wait but I definitely wasn't ready for this. Unfortunately, the waiting and the service ruined our experience. I really did love my banana stew but I'll have to think hard before coming here again.*

A fair few well labelled vegan options. The jackfruit croquettes and okra were amazing! I personally didn’t love the banana in the stew but the rest of the flavours were awesome! A great place to try a few new things, especially if travelling with non vegans who want their own thing!

Stopped in for dinner and had the vegan bobo, some crispy okra and the vegan chocolate dessert. A little on the pricey side but makes up for it in high quality dishes.

Perfect option for those who are hanging out with no vegans - Edit
This restaurant is an ideal choice for dining out with non-vegans. The menu is highly flexible and accommodates various dietary needs. We opted for the vegan moqueca and bobó, while our companions enjoyed sampling some traditional Brazilian dishes. The staff was exceptionally friendly as well. I highly recommend it and will definitely return.

Já provei todas as opções vegan do capim dourado. A cozinha de jaca e aipim são incríveis, assim como a moqueca de banana que vem com acompanhamentos e existem inúmeros outros vegans para pedir também. Já o bobó de castanha achei um pouco enjoativo e adocicado, mas que pode ser “arrumado” com porções mais salgadas. O pétit gateau com sorvete de frutos vermelhos também estava no ponto. Não é um lugar barato, mas é para voltar sempre.

The space is very beautiful and the service is friendly. We ordered two coxinhas de jaca to start. They were delicious. Probably one of the best I’ve tried outside of Brazil. The main course we ordered a bobo vegano that was a little disappointing. It lacked flavor and was missing the thick mandioca and some spice to it. We also ordered as sides fried bananas, vinagrete and farofa. All made the main dish better.for dessert we ordered the only vegan option that was the petit gateau with vanilla ice cream. It was amazing.
