Cozy restaurant, great vegetarian French food - Edit
The food looks good and tastes delicious. You menu has two starters, two main dishes and two dessert. They seems to change daily. At least when we were there, one of each choices was vegan. On the other hand the potatoes au gratin I had was very tasty, with probably real cheese.
Read moreThe kitchen is French with a lot of old school ingredients like lentils, black rice, or alfalfa. There are some influences from the Asian kitchen.
The size of the portion and the price were reasonable for Paris.
The place is located in a calm side road near the Metro station Stalingrad. The interior has its own style of vintage furniture, much light and is very nice. The stuff is friendly. The deliver their food with a cargo bike and quite some people took their food out.
Pros: Tasty, French kitchen, cozy place

Casual, seasonal dining near the Canal de l'Ourcq - Edit
Just a block or two north of the Stalingrad metro station, the Cantine offers two vegetarian main courses, appetizer, dessert, wine, ginger beer , coffee and other non alcoholic beverages in a homey ground floor setting. There are wooden tables inside, and a few cafe tables out front on the rue d'Aubervillers. The set meals are a good deal (a "formule" including appetizer, main & dessert, or other combos such as appetizer & main, or main & dessert ), the waitstaff is welcoming and the atmosphere is unpretentious .
Read moreWe arrived shortly before lunch service ended, but were able to get a meal, though some some dishes were sold out. Our lentil salad and sweet potato felafel with mixed salad were tasty and fresh. We didn't feel pressured to order and eat quickly and were served promptly with a smile.
Some staff are English speaking, if that's needed. Credit cards OK.
Pros: Easy to find at street address, Casual atmosphere , Vegetarian home cooking
Cons: Set hours for lunch & dinner service only , Limited number of tables
