Really great vegan rueben - Edit
I met some non vegan friends here because i wanted to try their vegan rueben that uses Mrs. Goldfarbs vegan deli meat. It was amazing! The menu clearly states to sub avocado for cheese etc. which I did. Highly recommend. The waiter was super accomodating and seemed to be very vegan friendly. Not much else I could see on the menu, but what else do you need at a deli? They bring a dish of dill pickles when you sit down too- so good. It's open 24 hours so that's handy too. For some reason i could not find it on theier online menu but their in restaurant menu has a nice little section for it. Highly recommend.

A Los Angeles Landmark. - Edit
Canter’s, a Los Angeles landmark, has long been off limits to vegans due to its meat heavy menu. Recently, they introduced a Veggie Ruben (corned beef/pastrami on rye).

The sandwich is amazing, hopefully they will continue to bring more vegan items to the menu.
Pros: Vegan Ruben sandwich.
