Great Beet Tacos - Edit
Calexico was a last minute dinner decision when I saw multiple vegan options on their menu - including their ground beet and tempeh tacos. Ground beet isn’t a typical tack filling so I was curious to try.
Read moreThe taste was like a traditional beef tack (almost like beyond) with much sweeter flavor. Fair warning, there will be a lot of beet red juice making a mess. I got the taco combo that was a great deal and included vegan rice and beans. I would definitely order these tacos again or try one of the burritos in the future.
