Settling for Seitan - Edit
I was disappointed at the lack of vegan items they had available during my visit. I had change my order three times as they didn’t have the items I wanted and had to the same meal as Fabio. We got the seitan burger which was okay! I would have loved to try the portobello burger :(

Afternoon tea - Edit
A Saturday afternoon tea. Unfortunately, there was only one vegan cake available: tiramisu. It was very tasty. Sencha tea was served in a pot. The tea was a bit pricey. This time we had nothing else.

Seitan Burger was pretty good - Edit
The Seitan Burger was pretty cool and customer service was okay, but the organization of the utensils, water and sweeteners was confusing. They have them all over the restaurant. Also, there are not many solo seats. I had to sit in a 4 person chair and got dirty looks from the other customers for it.

I did ask for a salad with falafel which wasn't on the menue. They made it really nice and yummy. Also the fries came with vegan chilly mayo and vegan curry mayo. The place is nice and the stuff friendly. I wa happy eating there.

We sat in the basement pub. They had one vegan burger option, and it was really tasty! They also had a choice of vegan mayonnaises to dip your fries in. The local craft beer was also very good. You could add vegan cheese or a portobello to it for extra, but I chose not to.

Cozy & delicious vegan food - Edit
Cozy cafe in an old charming building in the city centre of Oulu with several vegan options. We ordered a falafel pita, as it said to be vegan on the menu, but once it was served we noted that there was feta cheese and yoghurt based tzatziki in it. We asked the waitress about it and they replied that we should have separately mentioned that we wanted to have it vegan. Anyway, they were happy to make us a new meal. We ended up waiting quite long in total, but once the meal was served it tasted delicious. All an all a very positive experience - just remember to mention when you order if you’re a vegan!
