I never had proper African food before. But the Omo opened my mind and in the future I hope to have more opportunities like this evening.
Read moreWe were a group of 7 vegans, Each one of us wanted to try a little bit of everything, so they offered us a starters- and a mains plate with every single vegan dish.
To summ it up everything was delicious. :)

Sehr leckeres und authentisches Essen. Eine gute Auswahl an veganen Optionen. Ich empfehle den veganen Mischteller für mehrere Personen und zu trinken ein afrikanisches Bier mit Fruchtgeschmack. Schlichte Einrichtung. Netter Service.

I highly recommend both the vegan appetizer platter and the main dish platter.
But my favorite thing is the really warm and lovely owners who always make us feel super comfortable and welcome.

The service is also really nice and it has a familiar atmosphere.
It's very social eating since you are sharing one plate (and you eat with your hands) which I personally love.

Read moreIt is decorated in a very Ethiopian style and with a very cozy and colorful vibe which I really liked.
All the starters are vegan, and there are four vegan main dishes and one vegan dessert. You can also get a mix of all the main dishes for two or more people - something we did and something I definitely recommend to do. OBS! You eat with your hands, using bread as your "cutlery". Don't worry if you are running out of bread you can just ask for more for free.
The lady serving us was really charming and nice and talked to us at great length when we asked her about their infamous coffee, even bringing us some of the beans to show us. I don't know much about coffee, but apparently it's the bomb.
I'd definitely be happy to go back here. Perhaps to try their infamous coffee, which I sadly did not get a chance to try this time around.

Read moreEs gibt eine sehr große Auswahl an veganen Gerichten (zudem sind alle Vorspeisen vegan).
Wir haben die gemischte Vorspeisen und die gemischte vegane Platte gehabt, sind jetzt pappsatt und sehr glücklich. Wir kommen wieder.
