Wonderful ❤️

I love being in this rustic bistro! I always visit the all day vegan brunch (only on sat/sun & holidays, all you can eat!), where they offer a variety of the most delicious vegan dishes, always warm & cold, as well as desserts, all for 16,50€ (drinks excluded). Everything there is vegan, but they serve cows milk (along with soy/rice milk) for coffee. I’ve never tried their cakes, but they look amazing. The place has a very soothing atmosphere & is really cozy, & they always play good music. On warmer days there’s outside seating, although I love sitting on one of the nostalgic sofas inside. & the owners love dogs, so my dog also gets a treat or two ☺️ Reserving a table is always a good idea, especially if you’re a group 😉

Pros: Delicious food, Cozy, All you can eat vegan brunch

Cons: Serve cows milk

Atmospheric

Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere here which felt more laid back and friendly than the city centre cafes we visited. It was a warm evening so we sat outside in the platz where there is a string of cafe-bars and there was a great vibe.
The food menu is all vegan and they have a few veganised Austrian dishes which is nice. I opted for the soy schnitzel which came with a (traditional?) potato salad which was very nice.

Pros: Food is all vegan, Nice outside seating area, Friendly, welcoming service

Favourite place in Vienna

This was definitely my favourite during my trip to Vienna. I loved the atmosphere, I could have sat in there all night! The food was delicious, great value and the menu choices plentiful. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The bistro was listed as 100% vegan when I visited, it is a shame to see that dairy milk is being offered for beverages when the food is completely vegan. I hope one day you’ll make the switch : )

Pros: Great menu and food, Awesome staff, Cosy atmosphere

Cons: Serves dairy milk for drinks

Leckeres Wiener Schnitzel auf Erbsenbasis

Wer den Geschmack der Wiener Küche als Veganer vermisst, ist hier richtig. Nettes Ambiente dazu.

Five stars if it was fully vegan

We had the doner, the dumplings (Geröstete Knödel, which I did not see in their online menu); and the Topfentorte as dessert.
Everything was delicious. Special mention to the dumplings.

The staff was friendly, and the place had a nice vibe too.

We found out that they offer cow's milk as an option for the coffee. So, unfortunately, the cafe is not 100% vegan.
What a bummer! How difficult is not to serve cow's milk for coffee, when all your eating/dessert menu is vegan?

Hopefully they'll reconsider. :)

Pros: yummy food, friendly staff, nice vibe

Cons: not all vegan

Get the tofu grilled sandwich

I love the Harvest I've eaten here a couple of times - I got the tofu grilled sandwich a number of times and loved it really tasty, the lentil dahl is a good dish as well.
I'd like to point out how cute this little restaurant is, there's such a homely feeling to the place the layout is fabulous really nice seating. During the summer they have outdoor seating which for me is a plus.

Pros: Cute Seating/Layout, Outdoor seating, Friendly staff

Cons: Pricey

great brunch!

I went to the brunch on sunday at 1 o‘clock and every table was taken. So, if you want to go there for brunch, call in advance for reservation. The food was great! I nearly tried everything and everything was delicious. I loved it so much that I even ate to much and got a little belly ache :D. In the first place I thought that 16,60€ for brunch (without even one drink) is quite expensive but it was totally worth it! :)

Buffet and best soup ever

There were many things in the buffet, lots of tofu etc. On that day, they had chestnut soup and it was really delicious and creamy. We took hummus for take-away, it was good in the beginning but the more we ate, the more salty it was. Tho it depends on each persons taste.

Price was a bith higher and portions of dishes on the menu were too small - definetely not enough to make you full. Another disadvantage is that you can take only one plate or bowl. If you want to eat more, you would have to pay for buffet again.

Pros: Tasty, Cosy indoor, Kind stuff

Cons: Only cash, Small portions, One plate buffet

Fantastic with a great brunch

We came here for brunch on a Saturday morning and were really surprised with the variety and quality of all the dishes on offer. Options range from breakfast foods (bread with various spreads, muesli, yogurt etc...) to several international savory dishes (samosas, rice, spinach, hummus, soup etc...).
It costs around €16 per person, so not the cheapest option, but Vienna isn't the cheapest city, and you can eat as much as you like.
The atmosphere was great and the staff are very friendly, helpful, and speak perfect English.
Would definitely come again if I found myself in Vienna again.

Pros: Delicious food, Lovely staff, Great atmosphere

Amazing food!

This place was a short distance from our hotel & what a find! The decor was cozy & eclectic, the menu was extensive with an international influence, the server spoke fluent English & the food was friggin' AWESOME! I had lentils with smoked tofu (the tofu tasted like bacon) , salad, and hummus with bread. Yum! Prices not bad.

Pros: Decor was cozy, Menu was extensive & not too expensive, Server spoke English & was very friendly

Cons: Lighting a bit too dim

beware, apparentely no strawberry field is forever.

Very good location with a nice ambiance. There are many options to chose from, but the strawberry-fields-forever-cake-picture is deceiving. we could not find such thing. food was delicious tho.

Great!

Nice cozy cafe/restaurant. Lunch buffet was delicious. A bit pricey if you just want a snack but if you are really hungry, that's a very good deal. Stuff is friendly and helpful, speaks English. They take cards but don't accept Visa though, so prepare cash.

Cons: Expensive

Good option if you're in the area

Harvest Cafe Bistrot offers a homey cafe atmosphere and tasty eats, with a focus on regional comfort food. There were several appealing vegan options, including snacks, meals, and desserts.

I only wish they offered fresh-squeezed juices.

Service was warm and helpful.

brunch

You should be hungry if you go to the brunch, it costs 16.60 euro. I got a green tea which was not included, so I ended up paying north of 20 euro for a small plate of food and a bowl of fruit/vegan yogurt along with the tea. I also perceived the food (as is usually the case in buffet layouts, even vegan ones) to be not particularly healthy or tasty. That said, it's a vegan buffet and is probably a bargain if you're really hungry.

The buffet!

We had the weekend brunch buffet. Lots of delicious choices - vegan buffets are always a treat! I wasn't sure what I was eating, some of the time, but it was great knowing I didn't need to check ingredients, and everything was delicious. Make sure you book, as it's VERY popular!

Pros: Good range of dishes, Nice local wine, Pretty decor

Cons: Very busy, so a tad cramped and rushed.

Divine Food

Very Hippy Relaxed Vibe. Food was delicious!! We tried hummus with homemade bread, goulash, lentil soup, and cheese burger as well as the tiramisu, banana cake and carrot cake. The Tiramisu is the best I've ever had. I was with two omnivores and they loved the food!!

Pros: Goulash, Cheeseburger, Tiramisu

Cons: Only one waitress so be prepared to wait, I didn't really like the carrot cake but I thi
