Wonderful ❤️ - Edit
I love being in this rustic bistro! I always visit the all day vegan brunch (only on sat/sun & holidays, all you can eat!), where they offer a variety of the most delicious vegan dishes, always warm & cold, as well as desserts, all for 16,50€ (drinks excluded). Everything there is vegan, but they serve cows milk (along with soy/rice milk) for coffee. I’ve never tried their cakes, but they look amazing. The place has a very soothing atmosphere & is really cozy, & they always play good music. On warmer days there’s outside seating, although I love sitting on one of the nostalgic sofas inside. & the owners love dogs, so my dog also gets a treat or two ☺️ Reserving a table is always a good idea, especially if you’re a group 😉

Atmospheric - Edit
Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere here which felt more laid back and friendly than the city centre cafes we visited. It was a warm evening so we sat outside in the platz where there is a string of cafe-bars and there was a great vibe.
Read moreThe food menu is all vegan and they have a few veganised Austrian dishes which is nice. I opted for the soy schnitzel which came with a (traditional?) potato salad which was very nice.
Pros: Food is all vegan, Nice outside seating area, Friendly, welcoming service

The food is completely vegan. The Rahmgulasch (goulash) is delicious. The service is very friendly. The atmosphere outside at Karmeliterplatz is very pleasant. Recommended.

Favourite place in Vienna - Edit
This was definitely my favourite during my trip to Vienna. I loved the atmosphere, I could have sat in there all night! The food was delicious, great value and the menu choices plentiful. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The bistro was listed as 100% vegan when I visited, it is a shame to see that dairy milk is being offered for beverages when the food is completely vegan. I hope one day you’ll make the switch : )

Five stars if it was fully vegan - Edit
We had the doner, the dumplings (Geröstete Knödel, which I did not see in their online menu); and the Topfentorte as dessert.
Read moreEverything was delicious. Special mention to the dumplings.
The staff was friendly, and the place had a nice vibe too.
We found out that they offer cow's milk as an option for the coffee. So, unfortunately, the cafe is not 100% vegan.
What a bummer! How difficult is not to serve cow's milk for coffee, when all your eating/dessert menu is vegan?
Hopefully they'll reconsider. :)
Pros: yummy food, friendly staff, nice vibe
Cons: not all vegan

great brunch! - Edit
I went to the brunch on sunday at 1 o‘clock and every table was taken. So, if you want to go there for brunch, call in advance for reservation. The food was great! I nearly tried everything and everything was delicious. I loved it so much that I even ate to much and got a little belly ache :D. In the first place I thought that 16,60€ for brunch (without even one drink) is quite expensive but it was totally worth it! :)

Buffet and best soup ever - Edit
There were many things in the buffet, lots of tofu etc. On that day, they had chestnut soup and it was really delicious and creamy. We took hummus for take-away, it was good in the beginning but the more we ate, the more salty it was. Tho it depends on each persons taste.
Read morePrice was a bith higher and portions of dishes on the menu were too small - definetely not enough to make you full. Another disadvantage is that you can take only one plate or bowl. If you want to eat more, you would have to pay for buffet again.

Fantastic with a great brunch - Edit
We came here for brunch on a Saturday morning and were really surprised with the variety and quality of all the dishes on offer. Options range from breakfast foods (bread with various spreads, muesli, yogurt etc...) to several international savory dishes (samosas, rice, spinach, hummus, soup etc...).
Read moreIt costs around €16 per person, so not the cheapest option, but Vienna isn't the cheapest city, and you can eat as much as you like.
The atmosphere was great and the staff are very friendly, helpful, and speak perfect English.
Would definitely come again if I found myself in Vienna again.

Amazing food! - Edit
This place was a short distance from our hotel & what a find! The decor was cozy & eclectic, the menu was extensive with an international influence, the server spoke fluent English & the food was friggin' AWESOME! I had lentils with smoked tofu (the tofu tasted like bacon) , salad, and hummus with bread. Yum! Prices not bad.

brunch - Edit
You should be hungry if you go to the brunch, it costs 16.60 euro. I got a green tea which was not included, so I ended up paying north of 20 euro for a small plate of food and a bowl of fruit/vegan yogurt along with the tea. I also perceived the food (as is usually the case in buffet layouts, even vegan ones) to be not particularly healthy or tasty. That said, it's a vegan buffet and is probably a bargain if you're really hungry.
