Lovely cafe

Soup of the day was lentil which came with bread and vegan butter. Large bowl and very good. Perfect on a cold windy day.
They had a vegan cake/ cookie option as well which I didn't try.

Soup and pastie

They had a lovely soup and a pastie that were both vegan. Very warming after being in the cool breeze

Much needed soup!

Arrived at John O’Groats around lunchtime on a windy cold day. Called in here hoping for something to warm us up - we were in luck, their lentil soup was vegan! It came with some bread and vegan spread. Literally exactly what we needed! They also had a vegan burger on the menu and vegan cookies on the counter (regret not grabbing one when paying).

Stopped for breakfast

I have a vegan sausage and potato scone roll for breakfast and an oat milk latte. Items weren’t labelled but staff were friendly and happy to check for me. The sausage was a bit bland and that meant the sandwich didn’t have a lot of flavour. However the view was fab! (They also had vegan cookies - which I didn’t try)

Pros: Lovely views, Friendly staff, Alternative milks

Cons: Food a little bland

Lovely little place

Small menu, they also offer ready made sandwiches and soup. Vegan spicy bean burger, same you can get anywhere, so a safe option. They have a selection of little vegan cakes and the vegan dark choc brownie was absolutely delicious (it was from a company Honeybuns)

Pros: Vegan brownie, Lovely staff , Quiet and warm inside

Cons: No vegan sandwiches
