good food, lovely service - Edit
my boyfriend and i came here for the brunch buffet. it was really good, not huge but a fair amount of food. a bit of bread, spreads, vegan sausage and cheese and then several warm dishes: tofu scramble, curry, vegetables, noodles - everything tasted good. it felt more like a lunch buffet though than brunch. besides cereal and fruit there was nothing sweet.
Read moreprice was 15 euro excluding drinks (i had a very good hot chocolate!).
i've eaten vegan brunches several times at different locations at a similar/same price. compared, this was very small, therefor i withdraw one star.
still a recommended place, especially in a city like Hanover where there's not enough veggie places!
Pros: taste, very nice service, drink menu is huge
Cons: variety

Perfect place to eat as a vegan... :-) - Edit
The food was very delicious, the owner and the chef are very kind. We ate as "all you can eat", the price was very low compared to the quantity and quality of food...😄

Good vegan brunch experience - Edit
Make sure to make a reservation when coming for brunch! The space is limited and gets full easily.
Read moreWe were warm-heartedly welcomed by the chef. She really lightens up the place which is overflowing with decorations and activistic brochures and books.
The buffet was set up so you could help yourself to some bread rolls and spreads, fresh (fruit)/salads and a few hot dishes (rice and bean stew, curry with replacement meat and scrambled 'egg'). The taste was okay but the happy chef was the thing that made it a special experience.
Pros: very friendly service
Cons: limited space

Wir waren am Samstagabend - kurz vor Ladenschluss - da und haben dennoch eine große Auswahl vorgefunden. Sowohl die Tagessuppe (Linsen-Kürbis), als auch das Tiramisu waren sehr lecker!

Lovely experience - Edit
The food was absolutely delicious and the service very friendly. There's also a good selection of books about veganism, and some gorgeous paintings. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcome and are greeted with a lot of positivity. I'm definitely looking forward to my next time there.

Sehr leckeres Buffet! Die Bedienung dauert manchmal etwas länger aber das sollte kein Problem sein bei einem entspannten Sonntagsbrunch. Sehr empfehlenswert:)

The shop owner gives this beautiful Café a lovely touch and makes great tiramisu cake! Even though the shop opened only after an hour (if not longer) than the official time I can only recommend this place. She even offered me and my girlfriend free soup before we left and talked to us about the benefits of being vegan and liberating animals. One of the greatest Cafés I’ve ever been to.

No words, but - amazing - Edit
Honestly blown away by the choice and quality of the food. The brunch buffet is full of tasty choices, from lasagna, and tofu scramble, to rice and veggies. There all sorts of vegan salami, cheese, and dressings. Also, if you have a sweet tooth, you won't be disappointed with various types of cakes. P.s. The tiramisu is great

Saxons and Vegans - Edit
For €9.80 you can choose 1 of the hot main courses or mix and match all of them including rice. If you want to eat as much as you want including soup it's €11.80. On the 10th April 2015 the choice were 2 types of vegetable rice, a couple of curries and a noodle dish with tofu. They were all very nice. Not outstanding, but just very nice. Which is a good thing. Pleasant colourful surroundings make this an enjoyable place to visit. The vegan cakes looked pretty astonishing but alas we did not sample. Cafe Gleichklang is very pro vegan and was promoting the annual Hannover Vegan spring Fayre on the 11th April which is just as well we visited on the 10th to find out about it. Make a beeline for this place if you fancy an honourable vegan feed. Next time perhaps, I would like to try the coffee and cake and maybe give the mains a miss.

Schaut mal rein.

Great lasagna - Edit
Very nice people and cozy restaurant/cafe. You can order one dish or for some euro's extra you can taste a bit of all the possibilities Gleichklang offers. I had a very good lasagna. The cake I had tasted good as well although a little bit dry. But the best vegan food in Hannover I ate here during my stay!

Great Sunday Brunch - Edit
My father (non-veg) and I went to the cafe for Sunday brunch and were both more than happy with what we got. For brunch, they offer a buffet of cold and 8 warm dishes, always surrounding a motto (yesterday: pumpkin). After a little salad and pumpkin soup (really tasty!), I tried as many of the warm dishes as possible, which were all between "pretty good" and "Oh my God, I have to eat more of this!". Especially the lasagna got me addicted. For dessert, I tried a apricot pudding with fruit salad, which I really enjoyed as well.
Read moreAll in all, the brunch is definitely worth the money and the cafe is a really nice, small place with friendly staff.
Pros: large brunch buffet, friendly and helpful staff, personal touch
Cons: not barrier-free, a little chilly in winter, small variety of dishes during the week

First vegan bistro in Hannover - Edit
I visited Gleichklang in August 2013. Unfortunately I didn't have time to eat anything, I only bought some sweets - a cookie en vegan Raffaelloes. A cookie was way too sweet, but Raffaelloes were perfect!
Read moreThough positioning as "gezund" they didn't offer sweets without sugar.
