Good Option for Lunch - Edit
Restaurant with nice food and big variety for vegetarian. Most of the vegan plates are made with soy and could be more beans options.

Cachoeira Tropical - Edit
What an excellent restaurant! This is a 100% vegetarian buffet style restaurant with tons of vegan options clearly marked (I'd say they offer 80% vegan options). The food was really delicious and the options rotate each day. I honestly don't know what 20% of the vegetables/ fruits I'm eating there are, but really appreciate the exposure to the delicious local produce in each dish. I have yet to find anything I dislike at this restaurant...even the 0% sugar, gluten-free cake was delicious and was a huge hit with my coworkers.
Read moreThis is a family owned restaurant with a cute little grandma, mom, and son (there may be more people here but I see these three the most). The son speaks English very well and told me they've owned this restaurant for 34 years and it's always been vegetarian. The mom recognizes me each time and enthusiastically comes up to me and excitedly tells me which items are vegan--she does this in Portuguese and I don't fully understand what she's saying but it's still cute nonetheless...she points to everything and says "vegan, vegan, vegan" and asks my coworkers when we'll come back. I really love this place, the nice family, and the delicious food. Highly recommended.

So many choices - Edit
One of my favorite places - I eat here every time I visit Sao Paulo, sometimes 2-3 times (most recently in December 2014). They have other locations in the city, and this is my favorite - with the largest selection of food and a large number of tables. Although other reviews mention that vegan dishes are indicated, I didn't see this on any of my trips here, but the staff are helpful and point them out. The price is excellent - about $10 US (at current exchange rates) for all you can eat buffet. Salads and hot dishes are excellent. Desserts look great, and some also taste great, but the best is the fresh fruits. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a big lunch and aren't trying to lose weight (if you are, you will need lots of will power).

After almost going crazy trying to find this place through the street of Sao Paulo, I had the chance to taste a really good food.
Read moreAll the vegan options are marked and it is a all-you-can-eat buffet.
Be sure to try the vegan sausage and the dessert made from coffee.
Can't wait to come back.

Agreeing with most of what's being said, I have to add: you guys have to prove the vegetal protein hamburger they make. It's perfect!
Read moreOh, and the place is really clean and fresh, which is nice given the brazilian weather. Bathrooms and lavatories well cared.
They accept credit cards, VR ("Vale Refeiçao") and money, of course.
It's a really good restaurant to take carnivors friends and show them how amazing and diverse vegetarian food can taste.

good vegetarian option in great location - Edit
complete buffet including juice (1 with sugar and 1 natural), full dessert bar, and a complete salad and hot meal bar. It's a great value for the money, that's for sure. As of this writing, it's R$18,00 during the week and R$20,00 on Saturday. Parking is tough to find in this busy Itaim Bibi neighborhood but it's one of the safest and most fun in Sao Paulo. The variety is outstanding, the quality pretty good. There's food for kids (french fries are a regular option), ice cream and fresh fruit on the dessert bar, and Brasilian-style vegetarian offerings for a low price.

It isn`t vegetarian. - Edit
This "Cachoeira Tropical" has 3 restaurants, only 1 is (supposedly) vegetarian. The other 2 serve fish and chicken in its buffet.

This location is 100% vegetarian. This Listing is for the Itaim Bibi address (see above). It is correct that the one in Moema is not vegetarian.

Cheap basic but good - Edit
It has a nice buffet with salad stuff, a range of soy and veggie dishes, basic sushi, fresh juices and dessert. There is some meat options but quite small. Be careful because the dinner menu is completely different and offers a special shrimp dinner with no buffet. But it is a great lunch place!
