Trying too hard to cater to carnists. - Edit
Bvrger does not appear to have a website of its own as I write this review. I found a menu in advance of visiting on Christian Ventura's website, which was very obviously out of date when I arrived at Bvrger. The restaurant does not have paper menus, so if you can't scan a QR code or don't want to waste your data, you will have to ask for a tablet to be brought to your table.
Read moreI ordered L'Originale, the most basic burger on the menu, which comes with no sides for $11. The bun and the sauce and cheeze on it were very good, but I felt it was ruined by the very beef-like patty. Sadly, there are no options for a patty made of beans or tofu or any other non-meat-y option.
Food (1/3 stars) — I did not enjoy the "beef" patty, and found the menu expensive for what you get. But the burger toppings were delicious.
Atmosphere (1/1 star) — This restaurant is tastefully decorated in a modern style. The tables are small, but this is expected in a small restaurant that essentially serves fast food. Music was a mix of pop music from the early 2000s that was not too loud.
Bathrooms (1/1 star) — The bathroom was both single-occupancy and non-gendered.
Pros: Excellent atmosphere, Non-gendered, single-stall bathroom
Cons: Burgers are very meat-like, no non-meat-y options, Very expensive for what you're getting

The burgers are absolutely delicious (among the best I've had, and very unique and creative flavours), a variety of splendid tapas and great side dishes. Gluten-free options available upon request. Great location, nice decor, warm and friendly staff. Definitely recommend!

The one thing I could say as a recurring customer, though, is that the buns have felt a little stale on more than one occasion. Don't let this keep you away from Bvrger, though!

Read moreWe got the Korean BBQ Chicken tapas to share, and I got the Truffle Burger as my main and Christian Ventura’s Salad as a side.
I got to try everyone else’s food and I think the truffle was the best of the burgers, but the surprising stand out of the meal overall was the salad. The flavour combinations of coleslaw, grape, fried capers and nuts sounded unusual on paper, but it was so delicious!! Do not leave without trying it.
I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu.

We were visiting Montreal for 5 days and our lunch here was one of the best! I had the Old School burger, my husband had the Truffle burger, and our child had the “chicken” bites with a Caesar salad. Everything was so delicious! Wouldn’t change a thing. The staff was also really friendly and accommodating. We would definitely return here.

On a tous bien aimé. Bon, j'ai 2 enfants difficiles alors elles ont moins aimé le burger, mais les doigts de poulet ont super bien passé!

We stopped in for a fast dinner when visiting Montréal. It had a casual vibe, and the staff was very friendly. I tried the surf and turf burger, and hubby got the truffle burger. We both upgraded to salads as a side and everything was delicious. The lobster tempura on the surf and turf was delicious!

This place is a great spot to scratch that comfort food itch. Loved the variety of burgers, from a classic cheese burger through to incredible hybrids filled with fried cheeses, interesting sauces and more. Very filling but also a little more expensive than we anticipated.
