Smoothies and Bowls—Hive Approved! - Edit
This place had western breakfast options, smoothies, and coffee. Caters to veganism well with alt milks and vegan options. Liked the portion size, was larger than usual. However, at the end of the day it was nothing special.

We’re pretty spoiled by some amazing vegan breakfast spots where we live in Portland, OR. Its hard to say what makes them special in a few sentences, but the main things for me are “is it all vegan/I don’t have to menu hack off the menu or go too out of my way to make sure something’s vegan”. Lots of our favorite restaurants are either entirely vegan or have a separate vegan menu. Another thing is “do I crave this food/is it special or memorable” and that’s more of a mystery formula thats hard to capture. Our favorite breakfast spots in Portland: Off The Griddle, Victoria Bar, Mis Tacones, and Mirisata.

Amazing vegan options - Edit
Many delicious vegan options and it is also possible to order non-vegan dishes vegan. We found it hard to choose between all the good looking options! Staff is very friendly and upon reception you immediately get free water which is also refilled. We had the falafel wrap and falafel sandwich with humus, really delicious. We also had delicious freshly prepared juices.

Pleasantly surprised - Edit
We found it a bit difficult to seek out good vegan food in Ao Nang (was only there as a stop over one night before Railay), but this place pleasantly surprised us for breakfast. A very nice middle eastern delight! The vegan brekky was ace, as was my eggplant artichoke hummus pita!

Good! - Edit
Hummus & avo toast was good but quite small. Smoothie bowl came with SO much fruit!
Read moreSharonC
Hi Bryony. Thanks for visiting, glad you enjoyed your visit. We aim to keep the price of the avo on toast competitive, vs what you'd pay elsewhere in Ao Nang, and as an entry price point vegan option) so if we made it bigger unfortunately we'd have to put the price up! However I hope the smoothie bowl fruit ratio balanced that out. Hope to see you again.

Hi Lilli. Thanks for the review, and the comments. It's definitely low season now, however we tend to be busiest between 10am-1pm so outside of those hours will be quiet. We have 2 english speaking staff although one is about to go on maternity leave and so has reduced her days, but we will have a minimum of one english speaking staff per day (even if it's me helping out) so should always be workable for visitors.

Hello. The bread should have been toasted. The staff are sometimes over cautious about it being overdone or burnt. But I'll speak to them again about ensuring it's properly toasted. Thanks for the feedback.

Be clear what you want. Make sure it is what you asked! - Edit
Ordered a fruitbowl and pointed it with my finger from the menu. I asked if it only contains fruit. Employee said yes. After 5 mins she comes with a smoothie(?) that looks white. I ask is there milk, she says no. After a while she comes to tell theres yogurth in it...got a new one for free and it was great BUT make sure they make it vegan (showing it with finger from the vegan menu part wasn't enough).
Read morePros: Great juices
Cons: Customer service/english could be better
SharonC
Thanks for your feedback. We don't have a specific vegan section on the menu at the moment and all our "fruit bowls" as mentioned are smoothie based. However all can be made with coconut or almond milk upon request so apologies if any confusion. The old/current menu doesn't state that clearly enough so we will be changing it soon to make it 100% clear what is vegan, and what can be adapted to be.
