Basically chipotle - Edit
Located in the food court. Line can get long at times, as some menu items are made-to-order, but moved fast for me. You can make your own burrito, tacos, or bowl and go down the line and add what you like - or they have pre-set vegan options on the menu board. No vegan protein, cheese, etc but they do have fajita veggies that have zucchini along with peppers and onions. Quinoa and avocado available for upcharge. They griddled my burrito on both sides which really made it that much better. Instead of spinach, like on the menu board, they only had romaine lettuce - but it was clean and fresh. They serve alcohol as well. The smoothie place closes earlier than the Burrito Beach

Decent food when there's no other options - Edit
I got the veggie burrito, it was alright but surprisingly affordable. Chips and guac were similarly just okay. It's food!

I got the very veggie burrito with medium salsa and it was delicious! The grilled veggies were favorful and the burrito was toasted. I never expect much from airport food and was happily surprised.

My happy place in the hellhole that is ORD - Edit
This place is a) delicious and b) super knowledgeable on vegan stuff and allergies. We were stuck in the airport for 24 hours and went back 3 different times. For airport food, it’s pretty cheap and worth the price regardless.

Beware of vegan menu section - Edit
At first glance, this seems to be a dream spot for a vegan. However, I was made aware that the grilled veggies are grilled on the same grill with the meat. This is unacceptable. I then tried to get them to substitute the grilled veggies for beans or more quinoa and they told me that no changes could be made from the vegan portion of the menu.

Very organized - Edit
There was a whole vegan section so it is very easy to find what you can eat. They also make everything in front of you so you can see what’s going in

Smooth and Burrito Beach are next to each other at the food court, but different stores. Burrito beach has 3 vegan options. I had the Veggie Burrito, which was okay - filling, but a bit flavorless. Staff is not very careful when it comes to cross contamination.

Cross contaminated - Edit
Buyer beware they cook the veggies on the same grill as animal products. My husband for horribly sick after consuming their vegan burrito. Cross country flight from Chicago to California. Wasn't pretty. Thank goodness the flight attendants were so kind. What a bummer.

I had a Very Veggie Burrito with a variety of veggies. The vegan tortilla was just right. Next time I'd ask for some more mild salsa, because it was good.

Near gate K5. A great airport find that has real food and flexibility with it's dishes. I had quiona Mexican bowl (no gluten, vegan), he had rice and beans burrito (vegetarian). Real food veggies being grilled as you do a build your bowl/wrap line.

Beware - the V on the menu means vegetarian, not vegan, but the person taking my order was very knowledgeable about which items had secret dairy, and helped me put together a very tasty and satisfying meal! And for airport food, it's very reasonably priced.

First time in Chicago O’Hare and tbh I expected more options from such a big city.. The staff didn’t seem 100% sure about what was vegan and mixed up the meaning of vegan and gluten free at first :/ I was told that both rice options and beans were vegan, but the tortillas contain buttermilk, so if you go here be sure to get a bowl. Overall it wasn’t awful and you won’t starve but disappointing to have to settle when veggie grill and native foods are down the road :/

Good Option - Edit
Vegans in O'Hare may have to hunt for an actual meal. This is a good option. I've eaten here twice in the past month and don't have any complaints. Tasty food - but it's what you would expect from a chain restaurant (nothing to write home about, but will probably not ever let you down).

vegan option at the airport - Edit
The vegetarian options are marked with a "V". Be sure to let them know you want vegan. We were going to get burritos and found it they had butter in them. We opted for bowls with the black beans and red rice. The roasted veggies were very good, not over cooked.
