Convenient concept - Edit
This place is a lifesaver. I had missed my connecting flight wand was now stuck in the airport for an additional 9 hours. I was hungry, but most restaurants were closed by then and the ones who remained open lacked vegan options. Luckily these vending machines saved the day.
Read moreThe options for vegans were not many but at least they had some. The price was a bit steep for the quantity received, but everything is pricier at an airport. The flavor was really good. No complaint there. And the presentation was very cute.
Pros: Convenience

Depends on the day - Edit
One vegan wrap option and there was only one left. It was very good though and I would get it again. You’ll need utensils if you order any of the noodles or salads so keep that in mind.

What a Happy Surprise! Limited Vegan - Edit
I think the best fresh vegan offering at ORD comes from a vending machine! (Read other reviews… made fresh daily, locally, and what’s not purchased is donated to local food bank!!).
Read moreThe few vegan main course offerings are NOT gluten-free, but are tasty.
The salads all have some kind of cheese :(
The Thai Noodle bowl was good, but gets pretty spicy (for me) as I got towards the bottom. Just the right amount of sesame oil — yum.
The Napa Chickpea Wrap grew on me (I’ve been trying to find/make a good protein lunch salad, so this might be a good start to copy) ; )
Didn’t try the chia puddings, but they looked promising.
Prices were fair (especially for airport food).
Pros: Taste, Availability - location, Socially responsible!
Cons: No gluten-free, Limited vegan choices, Not a fan of onion or peppers

I wish they labeled things better - Edit
I’m pretty sure that you were able to sort food items on the screen by vegan/vegetarian. I got a southwest salad and when I opened I realize that it had chicken breast. Why would you make a dressing with vegannaise if the salad isn’t vegan to begin with? Ugh! I had to throw it out.

Few options - Edit
Food is reliable, but there are few options. There is no made by date, so it’s hard to know how old your food is. Glad these units are here, though!

Convenient and fresh - Edit
I've had the Asian chopped salad and the Thai noodle bowl, both of which were absolutely delicious. Food is prepared in Chicago daily and what isn't consumed is donated to local food banks. Overall a great concept, my only gripe is that they don't clearly label vegan options but the company says that will change soon.
